𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄━━━I. Toge

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻

The school is open everyday for everyone who does extracurricular activities, even during the break. Although, since it's getting darker, you doubt that there will be any students there.

You entered through the open gate with Toge following right beside you.

The falling sun casted an orange hued shadow over the school building. Looking at it, you couldn't help but feel peaceful and sense a bit of familiarity and nostalgia. Of course, this is where you have been studying before you transferred to Tokyo.

A smile started form on your face and you walked around the school grounds. Toge was following you but he seems to be blanking out a little. You glanced at your upperclassman for a moment before looking forward.

'What's bothering him?'

You were thinking of that but you didn't ask him. Since he's thinking, you don't want to bother him. Also, you have also things to think about.

"Hmm..." After observing a few places in the school, you've concluded that this place has more and more curses than before. Back then, when you were still attending in this school, you've always taken care of the major curses that are wrecking havoc in the school. Minor curses were just eliminated whenever you felt like it.

But now that you're no longer here, their numbers have increased significantly over the past few months.

While you're not really in the mood for such things today, you're a full fledged jujutsu sorcerer already, though being a student still. Plus, Toge is here. You somehow want to show off... Kinda, just a little bit.

After concluding your thoughts, you faked a cough as you stop on your tracks. Toge behind you was late to notice so he bumped on your back. You didn't expect him to accidentally do this so you stumbled forward.

"Ah⸻"

Whether that voice came from you or him, you didn't know. Only the fact that there was somebody's hand holding your waist is inside your mind.

"S-Sorry, I..." After realizing that he was directly speaking, Toge closed his lips shut and instead pulled his hand back.

You haven't looked at his face yet but you just knew that he would have a very flustered expression, probably all red too.

But although you would be delighted to see his adorable face like that, right now, your whole mind is occupied.

You felt like your side was burning in an unbearable heat, so was your face. 'I feel like a volcano going to erupt at this point.' It was through your clothes but you clearly felt his slightly calloused hands holding your waist subconsciously. It's not like you were going to fall with just that but, but still!

Would've it better if he bumped into you harder, where you could've possibly fallen down?

That way, he would've held you tighter right?

You felt like screaming, but held back your voice back inside.

Toge was worried about the fact that you just stood there, unmoving, for a few seconds now. He stepped a few steps forward and stood in front of you, peeking at your lowered face curiously.

You finally raised your head and moved your gaze, meeting his own pair of eyes which stared at you with worry and concern. You pursed your lips and mumbled with a quiet voice,

"... I'm fine. Thank you, Toge-senpai..."

Honestly, you just didn't know how to react.

Toge stared at you for a little bit while longer before he looked away.
