FINALLY FINISHED THIS ONESHOT, REQUESTED BY @sixinchesinyou ;)))

(Y/n) picked up letter that was found at her doorstep, before turning it over. She hummed in annoyance when she observed the red wax seal at the back, which signified that this came from a wealthy family.

Or a person, to be exact.

She walked back into her one-story home and closed the door, cringing at the squeaks the rusty hinges made. The woman walked to a chair in the dining room and sat down before opening up the letter carefully.

Inside was a beautiful golden necklace, decorated with rubies, diamonds, emeralds, and more. they sparkled underneath the sunlight through her window, glimmering, almost. She puffed out her cheeks and rolled her eyes, biting her tongue. She placed the gift down, layed her head down on the table, and groaned.

This was the sixth gift this month, and at this point she was fed up with the sender. She met him when she worked at a café, which she quit working for shortly after because of him. He was a tall man with dark, brown, and silky hair. He resembled a twenty two, maybe twenty three year old?

The first time they met she was bussing tables early in the morning, trying to finish before any customers came in. But by the looks of it, she failed to do so when she heard the ring of a bell vibrate through the place.

When he first saw her, he looked at him like she just gave him two fucking islands to him, for free.

He sat at a clean table and luckily got (Y/n) as the waitress who had to serve him. After he was content with his time there (And his pestering), he tried to give her almost triple of what he ordered as a tip, but since (Y/n) has a guilty concious, she declined almost immidiately. Even after him protesting, she explained how she just couldn't take the money.

He left irritated that she wouldn't take the money, but was still excited with seeing her again. But when he visited the same café, he found out something very important.

"What do you mean she isn't here?!"

The cashier trembled at the booming voice, sweat piling at the back of her neck, "Yes, s-sir. She left yesterday," She squeezed her eyes shut as he slammed his hands on the counter on each side of the cash register, "Do you know where she lives?!"

"I-I'm sorry but we can't share any information r-relaying to people's w-whereabouts.." She mumbled, flinching as he got up close to her face.

"Tell me or I'll fucking shut down this whole place right now," He sneered, squinting his eyes. Her eyes widened and she mumbled out her address, terrified. Good thing he had amazing hearing, otherwise he would've screamed in her ears.

He pushed himself off and stormed out of the café, slamming the door on the way out. The cashier let out a deep breath and curled up on the floor. (Y/n) was a big friend of hers and they hung out a lot, but the café was her only source of income for her and her sick mother, she had to choose between her mother or her friend.

And unfortunatly for (Y/n), she chose her mother.

After a week, she found a new job as a janitor for a school, which sucked at first but the pay was higher than her other job. She grimanced as she mopped the bathroom at the end of the day, but when she finished she would be able to go home.

Once she put away the water bucket, she stepped outside only to be met with a blast of wind. As she turned the corner she almost screamed when she saw the same guy from the café. She covered her mouth and sighed, before uncovering it, "What do you want?"
