Man oh man , my brothers got on my damn nerves. Not a day went by them two niggas weren't pissing me off.
I sat on my oldest brothers, Josiah's, couch ; staring down at my phone as he and my other older brother, Jairo , went back and forth about where we'd have Jo's birthday party.
They were always arguing about something stupid and i never even entertained it.
"The club or bowling Blu?" Jai turns towards me , his eyes narrow awaiting my answer as i look over at Jo who was doing the exact same thing.
"Why don't we just go to adult bowling...?" I suggest , my voice unsure.
"Man no , i'm tryna see some strippers." Jo swipes his hand in the air , dismissing the idea.
"You need to be realistic Jo , it's a birthday party not no random ass night." Jai protests making Jo huff.
"The people i invited aren't people who bowl." Jo states through gritted teeth making me laugh.
I knew Jo was in the streets heavy and everyone he hung out with were in the streets just as much but since when did that mean you couldn't bowl.
"What?" Jo turns to me with a sneer.
"Chillat Josiah , just cause you and all your friends big gangsters , don't mean they don't bowl... everyone bowls." I laugh once again.
"See exactly." Jai cuts in , agreeing.
"Ya know what fine. We can go 'bowling'." Jo finally agrees , rolling his eyes and walking out the livingroom.
Jai took a seat next to me, clearly satisfied with his win over bowling or not.
"How you gon argue with him over what he should do on HIS birthday?" I narrow my eyes , crossing my arms.
"If i'm gonna be risking a night of studying on this party , i'm not about to just go out.. i do that enough already." he explains with a shrug.
"My big brother is a giant nerd.. never thought it would happen." I ruffle his dreads making him smack my hand away from him.
"Chillat wit allat. I'm determined not nerdy." He rolls his eyes.
