Apprehending the culprit and a new partner

After a recent ambush from a ruin guard fought by tobi and beidou they continue on thier search for the culprit that stole a vision-less vision that was supposed to be a prize for a tournament in order for it to have a new owner

The walk was not as peaceful as tobi would thought, it was rather hostile with all the hilichurls, metachurls slimes and abyss mages everywhere around the island

But its not something our captain and ninja couldn't handle,

Shooting a kunai straight at the metachurls head killing it and started disappearing in ashes, tobi gave beidou a thumbs up who have just slayed a group of hilichurls with her claymore and nodded in response

Tobi took the time to catch his breath letting out a 'whew' as he watches beidou walking up to him

Beidou: tired?

Tobi: well if only i wouldn't have known that this entire area was full of hilichurl camps

Beidou: you'll get use to it, i think thats the last of em

Tobi: thats a relief how do you think  aether and that kid of yours search is going?

Beidou: *shrugs* who's to say anyway lets make haste it'll be an hour till it gets dark might as well hurry

Tobi: no need to tell me twice captain

With a nod they resumed walking hopefully no hilichurls are in sight

Unbeknownst a figure was lurking behind them before disappearing

A few minutes have past and luckily no hilichurls could be found that said both never dropped thier guard

A sound of purr got tobis attention, he looked at Beidou which she noticed and raised her brow at him

Beidou: what?

Tobi: um captain was that you?

Beidou: what was me?

Tobi: were you purring just now?

Beidou: do i look like a cat to you?

Tobi: no but did you hear it though

Beidou: come to think of it i did hear a slight purring i assumed that was y-

She was caught off by something or someone appeared right in front of them

???: Fear me if you dare!!

Infront of them stood a little midget with cat like features mostly the ear and tail it wore a strawhat with a sword on its waist as it let out a hiss

Tobi: aw look its a cat

Beidou however facepalmed and sigh's in frustration

Beidou: not this clown again

Tobi went over and started petting the cats head

Tobi: aw aren't you just adorable

???: Would ya quit that! I am not adorable! You should fear me FEAR ME!

Tobi: oh yes you are~~

Having enough the cat unleashes its claws and pierced it on the ninjas leg

Tobi: Ahhhh! that hurts!

Of course the feisty feline wasn't finished as he climbed up his body and gave a series of scratches making tobi screamed in agony

Tobi: waaah! Get it off! Get it off!!

Thankfully for him the captain went towards him and manhandled the cat and started squirming

???: Hey hey! Let me down!
