And in the safest place called school
Where nobody could touch me
My world was small
Just about studies and phone callsVery soon and suddenly,
Time passed like waves
And a noxious thing happened,
We passed out as ex-students;A deep sea awaiting us,
We didn't even know how swimming worked!!
The divers there teaching us to jump fast!
While the immense pressure made us gasp. The surfers helping us to balance on tides,
Where we failed to even stand still on waves! The boat riders taunting us to enjoy the bit
While we, as students couldn't even breathe!Under the water when I first dived,
Got all the water into my nose and I sank...The coaches tangled their hands around mine
And brought me back to the shores besideI sat there in peace for a while,
After a long time...
I looked at the coconuts on the tree and wondered,
How did they manage to keep their water so 'sweet'
Even after having this 'salty' sea all around it??"The waters around us might be as deadly as they possibly grew up to be, but we must always, remember our roots, our books, and manage to remain 'sweet forever' "
