─────────────────HAIR HIGHLIGHTS
hi hi!!first off: since we're now fully drawing I'd recommend turning the stabilizer on. click on the little finger tapping icon at the top right of your screen. a window should pop up. set the stabilizer to 10.
i think what the stabilizer does is pretty self explanatory, here's with and without stabilizer:
now onto the highlights:
create a new layer on top of your model and use the normal blending mode, the add blending mode works too - depends on your cover.
use the hair highlights brush at low opacity and choose the color you have used for the glow without added white or black.
now brush around the edges of the hair as well as elevated/ already lighter parts. always go with the flow of the hair and add the brightest highlights where the glow from the back is the brightest.if you want even stronger highlights or the cover is already pretty bright, make a new layer on top. set the blending mode to add and use the same color from the glow with more white. i also really like to use the hair highlight brush here.
again, gradually build up the highlights, like that:now the edges of the hair seem to be glowing, very pretty.
next we're going to use dip pen hard and draw the little baby hairs. make them nice and flowy, it creates a really nice effect. use size 1.8-2.
also try and go into all the hair again, not only the edges. you can add face-framing hairs, too.result:
yay! that's it ✨
