as you recently move to seoul from the states, you found a coffee shop close to your apartment, which you started to go to every morning before work.
as you walked in you were greeted with the newly familiar smell of warm pastries and fresh coffee. in which you were also greeted with the same warm smile from a barista.
"good morning, what can i get you this morning?" a very sweet voice said. "hi, can i get a cinnamon bun and a vanilla latte" "of course, that will be $11.25" he says with a sweet smile. "thanks so much" as soon as you return the smile you make your way to a small corner table near a window. after you sit down you take out your laptop to finish some last-minute tasks for your presentation since you had a meeting as soon as you would arrive at your job.
about 5 minutes later you receive your coffee and cinnamon bun with a note on your coffee cup that says 'call me later, i'm joshua btw:) ###-###-####'. you giggled a little when reading his message, while you didn't realize he was watching you read it, as you looked up at him he winked at you and continued to take the next order in line.
after 30 minutes of working/contemplating your life, you realize that you were about to be late to work, quickly grabbed all of your things and waved at joshua. as you preceded to leave you started thinking about joshua and what a date with him would be like. 'i mean, he's very handsome and seems very kind. i might as well give it a shot.' you thought to yourself.
as you walked into your job you continued you quickly set your things down on your desk, you continued to speed walk to the meeting room with your laptop, as you were a few minutes late.
after about an hour the meeting was over you went back to your office and remembered the number that joshua gave you earlier, so you decided to call him...
y/n: hey, it's y/n from the coffee shop.
joshua: oh hey, it's good you finally know your name.
y/n: haha~, you sound busy, i can call you later"
joshua: it's a little busy but i like hearing your voice... how about i take you on a date tonight?
the fact that you were melting at his words... it's like he's known you forever.
y/n: yeah, that sounds great.
joshua: good, i'll pick you up at 8, and dress casual.
y/n: okay, where are you taking me?
joshua: i guess you'll have to wait and see.
at the end of that call, you were a blushing mess, you never realized how much this man can affect you. luckily work went by a lot faster than usual, so you were able to return home quickly.
it was already 6 and you had about 2 hours to get ready. you started to blast music throughout your apartment and got ready to take a shower. once you got out, you went your choose your outfit and decided to pick out (whatever you want) since it was about to peak fall in seoul.
as you we're finishing up, you heard a knock at your door figuring it was joshua (which it was).
y/n: hi, you can come in, i still need to grab a few things.
joshua: ok, take your time.
you nearly folded once you saw him. joshua was wearing black leather pants and a slightly baggy turtleneck.
