As a kid, Juliet remembers watching her father play for FC Barcelona. She would sit in the stands with her mother and grandmother, cheering him on as he made his way across the pitch, scoring goals and making passes that seemed impossible. She loved the energy of the stadium, the roar of the crowd, and the excitement of a game. She dreamed of one day playing on that same field, wearing the same colours as her father. But that dream was somewhat crushed when he left her alone. Despite this, Juliet worked hard, adopted her mother's surname and consistently pushed herself to improve to reach her full potential.
Therefore, the moment Juliet heard Joan Laporta's voice on the other end of the line, her world seemed to pause. The words that followed left her utterly astounded. "Hi Juliet, I have some news," he said. "We've been keeping an eye on you, and we think you have what it takes to play for FC Barcelona." After her grandmother's passing, she realised that there wasn't much left for her in Manchester and that it was time for her to pursue a new chapter in her life by moving to Barcelona.

@velascolove we will support her whether she goes to Barca or stays at Man.
@fan12 if this is true this will be the best news I've heard all summer.
@livelovejuliet this girl deserves every bit of success.
Arriving at the training grounds, Juliet was eager to show the coaches what she could do. She was nervous but determined. It was her chance to prove herself and make her mother proud. Hastily, grabbing her gym bag from her car, Juliet entered the club's changing room. There she spotted none other than Alexia Putellas, who was arguably one of the best midfielders in recent years. Her light blond hair was tied back in a messy ponytail and she was already in the blue training gear of their club.
"Hi, I'm Alexia. You must be the new player," she said with a smile.
Juliet nodded, feeling a little shy. "Yes, I'm Juliet. Nice to meet you."
"Well, welcome to the team, pequeña," Alexia said, putting a hand on Juliet's shoulder. "Don't be nervous. We're all here to support each other."
Juliet felt a sense of relief wash over her. She had been worried that she would be seen as an outsider or that the other players would be cold to her. But Alexia's friendly welcome made her feel like she was part of the team already.
"So how did you end up here?"
"I've been playing football since I was a kid. My da- I knew someone who used to play for FC Barcelona, so I grew up watching him and dreaming of playing on this team one day," Juliet explained.
"That's so cool. I've also been a fan of FC Barcelona my whole life, so playing for the team had always been a dream of mine, too," Alexia replied. "What position do you play?"
"I'm a midfielder," Juliet said.
"Ah, me too," Alexia said with a grin.
As they headed out to the field for training, Juliet felt a mix of nerves and excitement. This was her chance to show the coaches what she was made of and prove that she belonged on the team. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was ready to work hard and give it her all. And with Alexia by her side, she felt like she could do anything.
"Hi Juliet, welcome to the team." her coach said.
"No, thank you really for having me." she smiled.
"Girls, come here. I want to introduce someone to you," he said. "This is your new teammate, Juliet Velasco. She is joining us from Manchester City. Please give her a warm welcome." The team greeted her with smiles and handshakes, making her feel instantly at home. Afterwards, they stretched and started to practice. It was a pretty relaxed session. They were just practising shooting and some team-building exercises. However, the heat in Barcelona was proving difficult to adjust to. Juliet was used to playing in colder weather, so she didn't notice that someone had been watching her the whole practice until Alexia pointed it out.
"You have an admirer. He has been watching you all training," Alexia said, coming over to her and turning her head towards the bleachers.
"Oh, it's you. Why are you here?" Juliet frowned, looking at Pablo who was there to apologise to her. Suddenly all those words he had meant to say to her dried up in his throat, and his heartbeat quickened, speeding up to that distracting pace whenever Juliet was near.
"You're really Xavi's daughter?" he said, stunned. She forced a smile. It was not what she liked to hear.
"Oh, so he is not only a Coffee Cabron but also a stalker," she emphasised.
"Why do you keep calling me Cabron? It was an accident. I didn't know-"
"You're really helping me prove my point by calling you a Cabron," she said crossing her arms.
"You're a brat you know that?" He said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Juliet", the coach called her over. She huffed walked over to the coach and turned around, "Likewise Pablo."
The rest of the training session went smoothly for Juliet. She was able to focus on her skills and forget about the distraction on the bleachers. She felt like she was improving with each drill and was excited to see what the future held for her with FC Barcelona.
