Yuri heaves a sigh, trying to continue her homework but keeps getting interrupted by faint voices from outside. She gets up from her desk, peeking outside to see what all the noise is about.

The first thing that comes into her sight is a large moving truck, parked right outside of the house next to hers, several people that seem to be workers unloading stuff from the truck to inside of the house.

But the one thing that stuck out to her was seeing none other than her mother down there, talking to what must be their new neighbors.

As much as she was curious to meet her new neighbors, Yuri preferred to stay up in her room, as far away from human contact as possible. Being bothered in her precious time alone is one of the only things that Yuri hates in life. Her personal time is special to her.

Yuri walks away from the window, her curiosity slowly disappearing slowly as she gets farther away, but is quickly retaliated back to her as her phone buzzes at her desk, showing a message from none other than her mother, telling her to come outside and meet the new neighbors.

Now she had no choice but to be curious now.

She trots her way down the stairs, her shoulder length brown hair slightly bouncing as she goes down each step.

"Come here sweetie, our neighbors are so excited to meet you." The young girls mother tells her sweetly as soon as she steps out of the door.

"What a beautiful young lady." Yuri hears one of her new neighbors say as she walks towards them, making her lips curl slightly.

"Hello, my name is Yuri nice to meet you." Yuri says with as much politeness as she can render up, bowing 90 degrees as she says so. Yuri always try her best to be polite to adults, even if she hates talking to people, she was still raised to respect her seniors.

"how adorable" the lady says again, making Yuri smile. "You can call me Mrs.Yang." She said to Yuri making her nod in reply.

"Did you know that me and your mom used to be best friends.?" Mrs Yang asked Yuri, gaining back her interest. "When we were in high school we were super close, but then I went to college in the US and we somewhat lost contact."

Just as Yuri was about to respond she cut herself off as a boy that looked her age came walking up to the group of girls talking. His dark brown hair blew out of his face as he walked, revealing his boba like eyes.

Yuri felt in awe as she saw him, as much as she hated to admit , he was really handsome.

"Hey mom, me and dad finished helping the movers, he just wanted me to let you know." The boy said, not even glancing at Yuri, making her slightly upset for some reason.

"Thats fine honey." Mrs. Yang's voice spoke out. "but shouldn't you introduce yourself to our neighbor, you're going to be going to the same school after all, might as well get to know her."

Thats when the boy turned right towards Yuri, catching her off guard and startling the girl. "Nice to meet you, I'm Jungwon." He said bubbly, a dimple popping out on his cheek as he smiled down at the girl sticking his hand out. "I hope we can become friends."

Yuri looks down at his hand, slowly moving hers towards it and shaking it ever so lightly.

"I'm Yuri" was all she was able to say before walking away back into her quiet house.
