Shooting Star

Chapter 04

Y/n's POV

"I've to do something. I'll come to the rooftop. You all can go" as I made myself towards my room. As we came after the hike I couldn't put the flowers into a vase. I couldn't find a suitable vase for the flowers, so I just grabbed a glass and put them in. 

"Aww...aww! Someone got flowers. Wait, even her favorite flowers. How lucky, how lucky!" Sara made her way into the room while giggling at me. "Yah! Shut up! Why didn't you join them?" I asked while locking the door of our room. "Joon asked me to come with you. Why did Jimin and Taehyung stay at the hotel?" There she goes with gossip as always. 

"Who knows darling! Let's go. They'll come soon. Don't worry" as I dragged her while gaining a slap on my arm. "Yah! Why would I be worried? You should be the worried person here. Not me!" Even though I made a funny face to reject her teasing, deep inside I was thinking about what was the reason for his pale face.

Meanwhile

"Taehyung, listen. It's fine but think of you! You already gave her, favorite flowers. That's a bold move man!" Taehyung has already spilled the tea about what happened after Jimin left there, leaving the couple alone. "But you know chim! I'm still finding a way to confess to her! What will happen if she denies me? C'mon Jimin, don't give me that annoyed face. You'll have to deal with me!!!" Forming a cute pout he looked at Jimin's giggling face. 

"Why are you asking me? Did I give you any instructions to give her flowers? You did it amazing! Look Taehyung! believe in yourself first...and if you're in love with this girl this much, you can confess to her too" Jimin said it with an assuring face to him. "But how? I mean I don't know how to say these. Oh no no no. I can imagine her face already. No Jimin, no I won't confess to her. No no!" Taehyung wiggled his head after realizing her face if he confessed to her. Jimin dragged his chair towards Taehyung and cupped his face. 

"Listen bear! I know you can! I know how much you love her. And I know how you're gonna love her. Just say these words to her. Let her know you're in love with her. Let her know she's loved by you. Let her know it clearly. I know you do by actions...but let her know by your words too" Taehyung didn't blink till he ended his talk. Without wasting a second he hugged him. "Jimin, Thank you so much Jimin. Thank you for being the soulmate of my life. Who knows me better than you" as Taehyung hugged him tightly. "She knows," Jimin said as he whispered just to hear him.

"Huh?" Taehyung pulled out from the hug and Jimin took out his phone to show him. Without saying any word he showed him a text which hadn't opened yet on his display. It was from Y/n and the text was, 

Y/n: "Chim?! 

Y/n: Is everything alright? 

Y/n: Why does Taehyung look so pale? 

Y/n: What's happening? Is he fine?".

Author POV

Both of them made their way to the hotel. Meanwhile the gang who was on the rooftop stargazing while playing songs to match the vibe. Everyone was enjoying the vibe except Y/n drifted in her own thoughts. The background music made her feel suffocating in her heart for no reason. Her head was on Sara's lap. Sara felt her dress which was under Y/n's head getting wet as soon as she realized, Y/n was silently crying covering her face from her arm but still she was stargazing with her teary eyes. She panicked to her state as she straightened her frame.

Tae's POV

We were on the way to the rooftop when I heard Sara's words. "Shh...shhh it's alright. It's alright. We all know how much you love Taehyung. He won't reject you Y/n. Please now don't cry Y/nie...shh shhh. Let the time come and everything will be alright. Please". She was assuring her while she was silently sobbing. My heart clenched to the view when Jimin dragged my ear to whisper something. "You heard her right?! Now go take this chance and let it out. Tell her. Go!" He pushed me towards them while slowly tapping on Sara's shoulder to give the space. Even though she whispered something in her ear, Y/n didn't bother to respond. Slowly sitting down behind her, I waited some time to recognize my presence. But she was sobbing silently while zoning out from the place where she was. After her heavy breath, I couldn't stay silent behind her. 

Gently wrapping my arms around her from behind, she hissed to the sudden action but stayed silent. I rested my head on her shoulder while tightly hugging her from behind. I was waiting for her to talk but I was feeling a heavy shake from her body with inaudible sobs. She gripped my arms tightly while resting her frame on me. She was silently breaking down in my arms, all I could do was hug her tightly. After sometime her sobs came slower and I started to rub her arms gently.

"You okay now?" And that was my first ever question I asked after I came to the rooftop. Gaining a slow nod from her, she cutely sniffed. "Do you want water? Or anything?" Again there was no nod. I was still hugging her from her back.

"Y/n...so you don't need to say anything right. Just listen to me while you're in my arms. Um... I didn't know that...umm that..you know- you had feelings over me. But I found out just today. Ahh...why is this so hard...okay. Y/n I want you to know that, even though I'm having feelings over you. It's just not like recently that happened. I've become a very special person in my life now Y/n. All I want you to know is-" I couldn't say anymore as she whispered, "Why did you take this much time to confess, idiot?"Even after I cried?!" She didn't even bother to look at me but I saw her cute pout already. I tried to adjust my body to look at her but "Don't move. You know. I love when you hug me like- this-" that was a whisper which made me chuckle loudly. "Aigo...okay. So the thing is, I was scared to confess first as you'll reject me." She rested herself comfortably on me, forgetting all the things around her. 

She started to look at the sky, "Don't think of everything on your own Taehyung. I know you were giving me many hints and I was confused to get them." She sighed not heavily while looking far away. "I love you Y/n... I do love you so much. I need you in my life by my side" for a second her stares halted and at the same time she smiled. "You know, I completed many more checklists today which were on my bucket list. And you completed my most favorite one!" as she turned to look at me. 

"What is it?" I made a confused face at her.

"To hear I love you from the most loveliest person, under the stars. I love you more Taehyung!" and she suddenly pecked my lips before hiding her face in her arms.
