It was late at night, the stars taking over the sky once again and you were walking with Ao'nung along the seawall, balancing yourself on the thinner rock of each pool. The both of you were talking about your days in your respective training.

"Your mother scared me today, she told me I had to help with your unborn sibling's birth. She didn't specify it was for the ceremony after, and I thought I had to help with the actual birth," you say, recalling the nerve racking moment with Ronal, "it wasn't even your mom, it was Neteyam's mom too. Mothers are scary."

"I could make a joke right now," Ao'nung says, pausing where he stood.

"Oh, please don't. I know what you're thinking about, don't," you say, smacking his arm once in annoyance.

"I'm just saying, you set it up perfectly for me."

"Haha, whatever. Tell me about your day," Ao'nung thought hard about your words, wondering what he should tell you.

"I went hunting outside the reef, near Three Brother's Rock," he says.

"Did you go with your dad? Or mine? Or any older hunter or your stupid friends," you ask with worry, sure Ao'nung was almost considered an adult but it doesn't mean he should go past the reef alone.

"I went with my friends, don't worry," he replies.

"Okay, good. You didn't go to the Cove of the Ancestors?" you ask.

"Had training with my dad before I went hunting. They must have left before I finished training."

"I thought you would say you didn't go because who would want to hang out with those losers."

"Neteyam is with them, he isn't a loser."

"You're right," you nod to his words, "but neither are the rest of the Sullys that went."

"Lo'ak didn't go with them, I bet he's with Payakan," Ao'nung comments, your steps stop.

"Lo'ak knows Payakan? When was this?"

"Oh, you missed it. I don't know where you were this morning but we were all talking by the rocks and Lo'ak told us Payakan saved him from an akula," he says, recalling the group conversation from earlier that day.

"But it's Payakan... he doesn't save na'vi," you say confused and Ao'nung shrugs.

"That's what we told him, he ran away and of course Tsireya chased after him," he rolls his eyes.

"Be nice, I like Tsireya and Lo'ak."

"I have more competition?"

"Not like that, skxawng," this time you shove his head, making him rock back and forth a bit.
