Nikolas was standing in the town, looking out into the water. After a long while of his return to Devildom, Nikolas went back to the human world for a little while, not permanently. It was a few weeks later, and it was the day Niko is returning to Devildom, and he and Solomon made plans to return together. Niko got on his D.D.D., and suddenly, he got a call from Solomon."Hello, Nikolas?", Solomon says. "Hey Solomon, where are you?", he replies. "I'm almost there, have I kept you waiting?", he asked. "Not long, don't worry". Solomon softly sighed of relief and said, "That's good to hear, and I made a safe return as well. Hey, how do you feel to be back home if I may ask?", Solomon asked. Nikolas went quiet before saying, "It feels good, but I miss Devildom and everyone there". It went quiet before Nikolas heard the click sound that indicated the call ended. He looked and when he looked up, he jolted seeing Solomon standing next to him. "SOLOMON- Don't scare me like that!", he exclaimed and Solomon chuckled. "My apologies, I didn't mean to startle you. Are you ready to go?". Nikolas sighed and nodded. "Excellent", he said. A few moments later, everything around them turns white.
The two fell through an open portal and into the dining room. Nikolas landed face-first on the ground and Solomon landed on his feet, kind of like a damn cat. "Nikolas!", he whispered as he got up and went to help him up. "Are you alright?". Nikolas nodded and said, "I'm good, thank you". Solomon smiled and said, "You're welcome. Now, I'm going to head to Purgatory Hall, have fun and call me if you need anything", is what Solomon said before leaving. Nikolas stayed in the room and looked around. Nothing changed. He was about to walk out of the room a few minutes later when he heard incoming footsteps. Quickly, he hid under the table. He could hear familiar voices amongst chatter, and the seven brothers seated themselves down at the table Nikolas was hiding under. He could hear Mammon sigh and say, "It feels weird not having Nik around for dinner". Asmo replied, "Yeah, he would always tell us stuff about the human world during this time, and it's sad not hearing his sweet voice". Satan, who he was closest to, said, "I just hope wherever he is, he's happy-". Levi, who Satan was sitting across from and who Nikolas was in between, kicked his leg a little into Nikolas's side. He jolted and stammered, "S-something's under the table-". "What are you talking about?", Satan said and went to look under the table. His green eyes widened in shock as he saw who was under the table. "Nikolas???", he said as he quickly got up so he can get out. The other brothers were filled with shock seeing him.
"NIKO!!!!", Asmo exclaimed excitedly when Nikolas was on his feet. "When did you come back? Why didn't you tell us you were returning?", Lucifer asked, his jaw-dropping a little. Nikolas smiled and said, "I wanted it to be a surprise, so I didn't say when. I just got back a few minutes ago and hid". Belphie softly smiled and said, "We're glad you're back, we missed you so much". Levi nodded and chimed in, "Mammon couldn't shut up about you when you left". "OI-", Mammon started but Lucifer cut in, back to his original stature, "Don't start in Mammon. Now", he started, softly smiling at Nikolas, "We're happy you returned at a perfect time this time". "Have you eaten yet?", Beel asked and Niko replied, "Not yet". In between Belphie and Satan was an empty seat, where Nikolas sat. Satan pulled the chair out and said, "Have a seat". Nikolas sat down and said, "Thank you". The boys were happy that he was back, and Satan said as he pushed the chair in, "You're welcome, welcome back to Devildom Nik". Dinner went how Nikola remembered it, and towards the end of dinner, Satan asked him, "Hey, do you want to go to the library with me after this?". To which Nikolas nodded.
