Narrator:

Once Cedric was discharged, he convinced his parents of going to The Burrow to see Cora.

There, they said their goodbyes, and he walked up to the door.

Knocking the door, somebody yelled inside.
-SOMEONE GO GET THE DOOR!

-BUT YOU'RE THE NEAREST, GINNY!

-FINE!

When the door opened, Ginny Weasley widened her eyes.

-Hi, umm... I was wondering if Cora's inside?

Cedric:

-Who is it, Ginny? - A voice asked. - Oh, Cedric Diggory... - Mrs. Weasley hugged him shortly. - Goodness you're okay. You all of us worried, especially Cora.

-Where is she? - I asked.

-Sure. Ginny, take him to Fred and George's room... Those three are always together.

-Yeah. - Ginny spoke. - Come on, follow me.

I entered, and the house was very welcoming. I liked it.

-Cora always hangs out with my brothers... they're all day making products... but don't tell Mom.

Before knocking, she stopped me.
-Wait a minute, I think they're talking. - She placed her ear on the door, and gestured me to do the same.

-Do you know anything else?

-No. I want to go with him, but they'll possibly think I'm a burden.

-How are you a burden?

-Yeah... you've been intolerable these days because of him... Still... Hey, give me that.

-Blue or pink?

-Pink will make it look worse... give me pink. As I was saying, you worry a lot about Cedric. You should stay with him.

-If he cares about you, he won't be bothered by your presence.

I couldn't hold back anymore, and open the door.

-RONALD, WE TOLD YOU TO KNOCK BEFORE COMING IN! - Fred yelled.

-WHY ARE YOU SCREAMING AT ME IF I HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING?! - Ron screamed from his bedroom.

The four of us were in silence. The twins and I looked at Cora, who a stretched on a bed, facing the wall.

She didn't know I was here.
-I don't know, guys. Cedric's the most incredible person I've met in my life, and he's literally changed it... along with you two... I don't deserve him.

-Do not say that ever again. - I spoke, to which she turned around immediately.

She got up and hugged me tightly.
-Why didn't you tell they discharged you?

-Surprise. - I smiled. - Can we talk outside? No offense. - I told the twins.

-Non taken. - They spoke in unison.

We went out, and I finally got the courage to kiss her.
-We have to talk about... several things. - I told her as we pulled away.

-Is everything okay? - She seemed... scared? - You're breaking up with me, right? I'm so sorry, I...

-What? No, I could never... Cora, I'm madly in love with you. I couldn't leave you now.

-So... what did you want to talk about? - She spoke, now calmer.

We started walking throughout the landscape. The weather was nice to take a stroll.

-You see, first of all, I don't remember much detail of what happened in that graveyard...

-Graveyard? So Harry was telling the truth... - I frowned at her words. - Cedric... Harry brought you back, but you were unconscious. We thought you had died.

-That's what I want to talk to you about. - I started remembering my dream in which I was in my house... and had a son with her.

No, it was better to keep it in. Besides, it was just a dream.

-Are you okay? You're blushing.

-Yeah... I was just remembering something. But what I wanted to talk to you about was... while I was unconscious... I saw your mother and Erik.

After those words, Cora stopped on her tracks.
-What do you mean?

-They told me about you, and told me they love you. - I grabbed her hand. - Cora... never think you're a burden for me. You've never been and you never will.

She smiled weakly. I focused on her eyebags.
-You haven't slept well these days?

-Not since you got into St. Mungos. But that doesn't matter, you're all right now.

I narrowed my eyes, to which she raised an eyebrow.

-You remember what you told me when I asked for advice for the girl I liked? What was it?

-Listen to your heart, and you'll understand. - She recited. - Why?

In that moment, I pulled her close, and kissed her. The kiss wasn't passionate. Each one of her kisses were sweet and tender, which drove me crazy.

Now I tasted her flavor, and I loved it like everything about her.

I pulled away from Cora a bit, and she looked up at me. We were still close, our breathing on each other.

-You are that girl. - I whispered. - Thank you for always being with me.

-Don't thank me. - She half-smiled. Suddenly, she got closer, and I thought she would give me another kiss, but she went directly to my ear. - You should control your little friend a little, don't you think?

-Mean. - I chuckled, a bit embarrassed.

Narrator:

Once Cora returned to The Burrow, everyone waited for her with their arms crossed.
-Finally you're back. I want you to tell me everything. - Ginny grabbed her arm to go upstairs.

-Uh, stop right there. Cora's coming with us first. - Fred demanded.

-Yeah. We had her first. - George agreed.

Suddenly, Ron appeared.
-Does someone want any? - He showed the leftovers of the cake from the other day.

-Come on, Cora... make a choice. - Fred turned to Ginny. - You know stealing best friends are bad manners, right?

-Boys... I've already chosen. - Cora laughed. - Is there blueberry tart left? - She asked Ron. - I'm starving.

-Yeah. I was panning on eating later, but... we'll share. - He smiled.

So Ron and Cora ran to the kitchen to eat the leftovers, leaving Ginny and the twins confused.

-Anyone hungry? - George suddenly asked, to which his siblings agreed on accompanying him.

Cora, on the other hand, only thought about Cedric and their recent stroll. There was absolutely no doubt she was in love with him, and could only think about how fortunate she was by having him as a boyfriend.

In the end... things were turning out well... after all.

I wrote something on my page a while ago but I don't know if you saw it, so it basically says that yesterday I counted the amount of chapters left to finish this story, and noticed the last chapter would be written the day before I start school.

But I decided to update twice today so that I have my final vacation day totally free.

And that way, we can start a new story on my first day of school.

Let me know wha you think 🥰🥰🥰
