Chapter 1.

Izuku pov

"Todoroki-kun I'm being dead serious!" I said to him, standing up from my seat. "sure sure. So let me get this straight. You saw a black cat, you wanted to pet it so you leaned down but fell forward and hit your left eye which caused it to look like someone punched you?" he asked, still not believing me. He's my best friend and I know he cares but he doesn't need to worry for me.

I really got punched by Monoma this morning but I don't want him to worry, I'm fine anyway. "yeah! T-that's what I'm saying. Black cats cause b-bad luck but it was just cute!" I said with a smile. Why can't I just have talent in lying?! I thought as Todoroki gave me another suspicious look but finally seemed to believe me.

I mean it was my fault for bumping into him- i guess.. Nevermind!

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, since Mic sensei is always late I can check my phone now without getting scolded. He's supposed to be here since like 10 minutes actually.

I took my phone out of my pocket and looked at the screen. Rody texted me again.. I smiled at my phone as I opened the chat and looked at his text.

Me: it's literally 11am
I'm in school already-

Me: that's so not fair..

Me: good- I kinda kinda got punched earlier at morning.

shouldn't punch you for that.

Me: Mic sensei is here, I have to go!

Okay but we'll be back here,
I swear I'll teach you how to
fight back.

I sighed as I put my phone down facing the table. I perfectly know how to protect myself I just don't want to sink down to his level. Plus getting in a fight in school isn't something what a hero does..

"alright little listeners, I apologize for being late. That gave you some time to write your homework if you didn't do it in the dorms. I hope everyone did it!" he said not as loud as usual, but still loud.

Crap I forgot to do it.. But I always do my homework!! I swear I had it on my mind yesterday but I was so focused on the math exam I completely forgot about the english homework!

God that's so awkward.. I thought as I leaned my head on my desk with a thump in defeat. "Midoriya what's the matter?" sensei asked and suddenly I felt my classmates eyes burning through my skull.

"I uh.. I forgot to do homework.." I mumbled loud enough to hear. "a fucking nerd like you didn't do homework?! Are you getting dumb or what." Kacchan mocked with a laughter. "Bakugo, silent!" sensei said. "who else didn't do their homework?" he asked as Denki, Mina and Hagakure eraised their hands.

"alright I'll write your names and if you don't do homework next time again I'll give you an F." he said writing something in his notebook which I assume were our names.

"also.. Midoriya what happened to your eye?" he asked. Yeah I'll need to cover it up. "o-oh I-I accidentally tripped." I said with a nervous smile. "be more careful next time." he said then he went back to teaching.

God I feel so dumb.. I can't even lie without stuttering. That's so pathetic.. This is the last class, I don't need to take it much longer.

After class I was packing my stuff back into my bag when Kacchan came up to me. "oi nerd what's up with you, you're more dumb and annoying than usual." he said. Can't he just leave me alone for one day? "ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION NERD!!" he yelled slamming his hands down at my desk making me flinch. "I-I don't know okay?!" I said running out of the classroom.
