Chapter 2: I'm Sorry

"So, Can you be my friend now?" I asked with full of hopes and expectations that's crowding on my eyes. I was expecting he was going to say "Sure!" or a very joyful "Yes!", but instead I was met by a sudden scoff and an eye roll.

"Fine" He forcefully agreed, my smile soon dropped as I watched his sudden expression.

Does that "Fine" means that he's just forced to deal to my welcoming befriend?

"Anyways, since you're my friend now, I'm Yeonjun by the way" He introduced in a blunt way.

Why does he usually looks like he's unhappy?

I thought as I stared at his poker-faced expression. He wasn't even happy after hearing that he can be my friend now.

"Oh" I thought as my mouth formed an O once again.

"These are my friends" He introduced as one of his friends smiled after hearing his words.

"This is Kai" He introduced as the latter called Kai soon suddenly took my hand and shook it repeatedly while showing a wide and joyful smile at me. He must've been so happy. He was the one who helped me a while ago to stand up. Now, that's the boy who's not rude and impolite at all.

"Hi~! My name's Kai! It's a very nice to meet you!" He introduced while a wide smile soon formed on the corner of his lips as he kept shaking my hand repeatedly.

I smiled as well. He was actually better than Yeonjun. He was so bubbly, smiley and kind. Well, why not? He just helped me a while ago. Without his help, I should've laid more on the ground for a few more moments. I was so embarrassed.

"Nice to meet you too~!" I happily shook my hand with his in sync.

Soon after, he then let go of my hand. He was kinda adorable. No wonder he was the only defined different among his friends, 'Cause he's just too different by them.

"This is Taehyun" He introduced again.

"Hi I'm Taehyun" The boy called Taehyun spoke in a normal tone. He's also a poker one. He also doesn't have a genuine nor a very exaggerated facial expression. He didn't even smiled at all nor just a simple smirk. Was he really that stiff?

"Umm...Hi hehe" I smiled and waved a Hi at him.

He didn't even smiled back nor made a hand gesture or even just a simple smirk.

Is he really that poker-faced?

I asked at my own thoughts.

"This is Soobin" He introduced once again and pointed the latter at the back.

"I'm Soobin, nice to meet you" He smirked and waved at me.

I waved as well. "Nice to meet you too" I smiled.

"So! Since you're our new friend..." Yeonjun broke the light atmosphere with his sudden announcement.

"Hmm?" I hummed and tilted my head in confusion.

"Let's play shall we?" He handed his hand at me for a handshake.

I nodded my head happily and smiled as my eyes disappeared from my wide smile.

"Sure!" I agreed and accepted his handshake.

I was so glad that he finally accepted my request. I really wanted to make friends with someone right now, yet I'm still hesitating to the fact that he might betray me as his friend.

My friends and I arrived at the river side. I was surprised after seeing them all playing at the river. As they were playing, I've noticed that the river wasn't really that deep for them to drown immediately.
