The two of you woke up late the next day, around 11am. You'd both had a long day, but now Blitz needed to go to work and Loona was already yelling at him from the front door.

"Okay, okay Loonie! I'm coming." Blitz groaned before gently shaking you awake. You rolled onto your back to face him.

"Good morning, sunshine!"

"Good morning, Blitz."

You lifted your head off of his lap and stood up. You went to the kitchen to make Blitz and Loona something to eat before they left. You cracked a couple eggs into a pan and tied your hair back.

"So, I was thinking," Blitz announced from the small table in the kitchen, "Maybe you could come with me and Loona to the office today. You wouldn't have to come with us to, y'know, kill people but you could just stay in the office. Maybe you could sort some of the files since Loona isn't the greatest at that..." He received a middle finger from Loona after that last part.

You giggled and replied;

"Sure, I don't see the harm in that. But, could I come with you? To the, y'know, killing people. Just to see how it is, I guess."

"Yeah, why not?" he responded, with a grin spread across his face.

After they'd eaten, you put on a pair of low waisted camouflage patterned cargos and a long-sleeved beige shirt. It snuggled your curves amazingly. You threw on an oversized hoodie with a zipper that you found in Blitz's closet. It was cute, and it had a pony printed on the back in yellow and orange colours.

"C'mon, Y/N! You ready to go?" you heard Loona call from the front door.

"Yep! Lemme just tie my hair up." you responded, hurriedly pushing your hair back into a messy ponytail.

Closing the front door behind you, you rushed to catch up with Loona and Blitz who were already in the elevator. When you got there, Blitz was holding the elevator door open with his hand, but it kept trying to close every few seconds so he kept cursing at it. You snickered quietly and stepped into the elevator.

"Finally, let's get going!" Blitz announced, relievedly retracting his hand from beside the elevator. "We're already late, and I don't think Moxx has the keys-" he paused as he looked at you.

"What is it?" you asked.

"Heeeyyy... Isn't that my hoodie?" he observed, one hand on his hip. His smile made you feel warm all throughout your body.

"Hmm, maybe..." you responded, giggling childishly.

"Well, you look good." he said, still grinning.

"Blitz, Moxxie said that Millie broke down the front door." Loona groaned, not looking up from her phone.

"Oh, what the FUCK?!" Blitz yelled, his voice echoing around the elevator.

Once the three of you had reached the office block, Blitz pummelled through the hallways and up to the office floor, and all you and Loona heard was exasperated roaring from Blitz. The two of you looked at each other and burst out in uncontrollable fits of laughter. You'd never laughed so hard before, your stomach was aching from it. And every time you'd both managed to stop, you would hear Blitz's coherent cursing and yelling and you would both start guffawing again.

Eventually, the two of you managed to get back upstairs where you saw Millie putting screws back into the doorframe with the grip of a pistol. When you asked why she was using a gun and not a screwdriver, she blatantly said that she couldn't find one.

"She found a bottle of alcohol this morning and drank it all," Moxxie groaned from beside the coffee machine, before downing the whole mug of coffee he had in his hand, "So, she's drunk and impatient. That's why she kicked down the door."

"THAT'S coming out of her pay check." Blitz called from his office, before coming out with a pile of paperwork.

"Right! Loona, I need you to-" Blitz began.

"No." she responded.

"I didn't even-"

"No. It's already no."

"Well, then, Y/N, I need you to go and set fire to these in the alley." Blitz said, focusing his gaze on you and pushing the pile of paperwork into your hands. You peeked at Loona, and her eyes had widened and her ears had propped up at the word 'fire'.

"NEVERMIND! I'll do that, thank you." she blabbered, quickly snatching the pile of papers out of your arms and rushing out the front door - well, the doorframe.

"Always works." Blitz said proudly, both hands on his hips, "She's got a thing for fire, a kink, maybe. I dunno, hellhounds are confusing."

"Sir? Can we just go already? We've got loads of clients today-" Moxxie started.

"Okay, shut the fuck up. Go get your bitch, Moxx and let's get going!!" Blitz announced enthusiastically, lifting a shotgun off of a gun display behind him.

You felt a bit out of place as they all confidently grabbed weapons and knew exactly what they were doing. Awkwardly, you eyed the display and questioned your choice in weaponry, when suddenly, Moxxie held out a pistol towards you.

"It's hard to pick something good, I know. This one's a good one, you can use it pretty much anywhere. It's the gun Millie was using before, so the grip's got a couple dinks, but it's not an issue." he said, hopping intermittently as he struggled to reach for shotgun.

You smiled gratefully and took the pistol, checking the cartridge for any jams before flicking the safety switch on. You pushed it face down into one of the pockets in your cargos and grabbed a small switchblade and slid it in the pocket of your hoodie.

You noticed Moxxie growing impatient at his short stature and being unable to reach a shotgun that he recalled being 'much lower yesterday', so you lifted it off the display with your tail. You never realised how long your tail was until now. It was longer than your body, and you felt shocked that you'd never noticed its length before.

By this time, Loona had returned from the alley. She smelt of smoke and had smears of ash along her arms and tail. Blitz lifted a book off of a nearby table and tossed it to her.

"Portal, please, Loonie!" he said, grinning.

Loona read out a spell and suddenly, the wall in front of you caved open and a purple glow enveloped the room. You recognised it from your first encounter with Stolas. The portal displayed the human world, with blue skies and bouncy white clouds. You'd forgotten what it looked like, as you'd grown used to red skies and dark black and grey clouds. The portal had a flame-like rim, with white specks flying off of it before disappearing without a trace. It had a weird sound, a mixture of buzzing and a twinkling, ethereal noise.

"Let's move, motherfuckers!" Blitz yelled, leaping through the portal, soon followed by Moxxie and a drowsy Millie. Before hopping through, you turned to Loona, wiped a smudge of black ash off her face and patted her head lightly. She smiled and playfully pushed you off of her.

"Bye, Loona! Make sure you clean yourself up!" you called before hopping through the portal.
