it was saturday and beomgyu was bored. both his parents were home, but he didn't really feel like hanging out with them. soobin and kai were both busy and he had looked through every app on his phone already. there was no place he wanted to go to and no movie he wanted to watch.
so he decided to ask if yeonjun wanted to come over. he was so happy when yeonjun agreed and immediately ran to the bathroom to clean himself up a bit.
"mom, dad! is it okay if my friend comes over?" he asked after he ran downstairs to find his parents. "sure..which friend?" "you guys haven't met him yet, his name is yeonjun," beomgyu smiled and sat down on the couch next to his dad. his mom grinned and raised her eyebrows "is he by any chance your crush you told us about?" the boy blushed "maybe.." mrs. choi squealed and her husband just chuckled.
not long after, they heard the doorbell ring. beomgyu quickly got up and went to answer, smiling when he saw yeonjun. "hey care bear," the older said with an equally as big smile. beomgyu hugged him before guiding him to the livingroom.
"you must be yeonjun!" beomgyu's mom cheered, going over to the boy to introduce herself. his dad chuckled again and did the same. sure they wanted to question yeonjun since beomgyu expressed his liking towards him, but the parents know their son is responsible enough to decide on his own who he befriends and dates.
after that, beomgyu quickly dragged the older boy up the stairs to his room "i'm sorry about them, they get..excited when i bring people over," he said. yeonjun chuckled and shook his head "don't apologize, your parents are cute."
beomgyu smiled and kissed yeonjun's cheek "okay." the older blushed which was something usual when he was around beomgyu. "do you wanna play a game?" "what game?" "um..when someone says a word the other person sings a song with that word," he suggested. yeonjun agreed with a bright smile.
yeonjun was told to start with a word so he looked around the room for an idea "umm,, chair!" the younger gave him a look "really, chair?" the other laughed and shrugged his shoulders. beomgyu laughed trying to think of a song "well, i don't know! give me a different word!" they both laughed.
they ended up playing that game for a pretty long time before they decided to watch the movie moana.
they laid down in beomgyu's bed and yeonjun felt..shy. he was hesitant to move closer to beomgyu which the younger noticed. he chuckled and moved as close as possible to the older. "can we, like, cuddle?" the smaller boy asked. yeonjun blushed again and nodded, slowly wrapping his long arms around beomgyu's frame.
they talked over the movie and laughed, singing along to the songs as well. meanwhile, beomgyu's parents were outside of his room bickering.
"i just wanna ask if yeonjun's staying for dinner!" mrs. choi whisper yelled. her husband gave her a skeptical look "you just wanna spy on them, honey.." the woman groaned before laughing "don't you?!" mr. choi stayed silent which was enough of an answer. his wife smiled and entered her son's bedroom without a warning, seeing the two teenagers hugging each other under the blanket.
"hi boys..dinner's ready, are you staying for dinner yeonjun?" she asked with a sweet smile. before the boy could answer, the one next to him spoke up "yes he is!" beomgyu said with a cheeky grin.
when mrs. choi left the room, beomgyu turned to the other "you don't mind right?" yeonjun laughed "of course not, i'd love to stay." "okay, good.."
