"Come again?" Yeji asked as she slammed her locker in shock, looking at me.
"Changbin asked me out" I repeated. She frowned.
"He did?" she questioned as I nodded.
"That emo guy?" she seems unconvinced. I sighed before nodding my head.
"Did he fell down and hit his head?" she doesn't sound like she's joking.
"I hope he did" I mumbled to myself.
"And you accepted him?" she asked with a raised eyebrow after thinking it through. I stared at her for a solid second before humming.
Her eyes widen. This is different from what I expected her to react.
"What, why?! What about Minho?" she freaks out. I looked away.
"I don't know" I sighed.
"Tell him you don't like him. Bro, you can't just give up on your first love like this. Remember your goal?" she exaggerated.
"I know! I told him I don't feel the same way but he told me to give him a chance" I replied.
"This can't be happening—" her words were cut off by Chan.
"Hey, guys. Quite early today?" he greeted us with Minho beside him, showing off his perfect smile. I gulped.
"Hey" both Yeji and I replied.
"What were you guys talking about? It looked quite serious" Chan chuckled yet he seems to be actually interested in our conversation.
"Well, nothing actually" I laughed nervously.
"What are y'all standing here for?" Changbin suddenly butt in. The moment I see him, I can feel my heart jumped out of my chest.
I look at him nervously while he only stared at me with the same poker face he showed whenever his friends are around.
An aching pain can be felt on my chest but I ignored it.
"Come on, we should go to class" I decided to break the conversations they're pulling me into, grabbing Yeji to come with me.
"We'll see you guys later" I said, waving to both Minho and Chan.
"What was that? They were trying to talk to you, Minho seems like he wanted to say something too!" Yeji exclaimed.
"I'm sorry, I just felt the need to leave" I told her as she sighed.
"My only advice is for you is to tell Changbin that what you said yesterday was a joke. Say that you didn't mean it" Yeji adviced me.
How could I tell him that?
"You like Minho, Y/N. You have always been. What will happen if Minho finds out you're dating Changbin? He will definitely keep his distance! You don't want that, do you?" she tried to convince me.
