Chapter 3.

Mako POV.

I wake up and see I'm back in the bedroom.

My leg is wrapped up I sigh and limp to my Cello.

I notice the King is watching me but I don't acknowledge I notice a dress and headpiece.

??“ Put it on.

I sigh and put it on.

He licks his lips and I look at him in disgust.

I start to play my Cello and the King sits behind me and I feel his fingers touching my back.

Magnus“ Magnus.

I don't respond and continue playing.

Magnus“ And my Queen her name is Venus.

He kisses my shoulder and I continue playing Ignoring his advances as best as I can.

I finish playing and he's licking my neck and I feel his fangs about to pierce my skin.

Mako“ I don't wanna die.

Magnus“ *chuckles* You won't you'll be our musical dumpling but we need you to live in eternity.

He bites my neck and my eyes widen but then my vision went dark.

*250 years later*

August POV.

It's been 19 years but I finally did I removed the seal.

I hear the echoing music of the Cello.

I see the palace rising.

Hunters sealed the vamps underground and I have finally opened the seal.

I enter the dark throne room and see the King and Queen's most precious prize and my best friend.

Duchess Mako.

She continues playing the Cello.

August“ So where are the-.

I hear screeching and hissing I immediately hide behind Mako.

Mako POV.

250 years have passed.

The only comfort is my music.

Magnus“ MY FRIENDS WHERE SHALL WE CONQUER!?

The Dukes and Duchesses all murmur until I notice Katya the Duchess vampire of Germany.

Katya“ My lord the German coven is at your call.

I continue playing while I glance at Katya her face scarred from the war 19 years ago.

Her husband fat and still full of himself.

Magnus“ What I need is blood that will awaken my children and then they'll eat the flesh of the humans.

I go more intense with the music.

Magnus“ But first we wake the Queen.

I stop and we all watch the center floor open and rise a giant heart and inside is Venus.

I hear a noise.

And I notice something off with one of the Duchesses.

Magnus POV.

I smirk and gesture my court they all disperse I sit on my throne as the soothing music of misery plays.

I look and smile.

Magnus“ Vampirism suits you.

She scoffs but I smile.

She walks off with August following her.

August POV.

I'm going through my potion book while Mako is going through special sheet music.

Mako“ Auggie come now you look hungry.

I turn and smile.

We hear giggling and see the two fledglings that are desperate for any approval from King Magnus.

Fiera and Ciera.

Disgusting troublemakers Ciera the brother got punished by Magnus for trying to drink the blood of Mako.

Ever sense then Ciera has been more destructive.

Fiera she keeps to herself.

Mako“ Don't start anything you two.

Fiera“ Magnus summons you.
