The Spellbound Werewolf

Finding ..

Theo rushed towards the bus the minute his hand brushed against Pierce, he knew that Pierce would find him . He ran as fast as he could and caught the bus he saw Pierce running in the same direction from the window but before Pierce could spot him the bus took off . Thankfully Pierce did not follow the bus . Theo felt his wolf whine and cry in pain as he felt Pierce's presence fading.  Theo changed his appearance back under his hood as tears streamed from his blue eyes 

Theo slept, a dreamless, empty sleep that was immediately broken as the bus came to a halt. He had reached North town, he wandered around the taverns where he heard about the Hermit of the north town, who resided in the woods near Snowpell village. He headed towards his mother's town the snow spell village, he was sure that this hermit would help him find a way to control his powers. Snowspell was a small village deep into the woods in the snowy mountains, it had very few villagers most of which were distant decendandents of the witches that once ruled the northern towns. Most villages had no magic in them hence Theo thought it best to hide his abilities.

He wandered into the village and reached a small tavern.

Tavern Owner " Who are you kid? What is your business here ?"

Theo " I am looking for someone, I have heard there is an old hermit in this village, he has healing abilities."

Tavern Owner "Hahahah, you one of those town folks who came to verify the myth of the Healing mystic?"

Theo " Could you help me with that, I would also like a room and some food. It's freezing ."

Tavern Owner looked at Theo " Fine, but you have to pay in advance ."

Theo snapped his fingers to conjure some money into his empty wallet. Theo took out his wallet and paid a few hundred dollars to the tavern owner who gave him a room, it was a small shed with a fireplace and a bed it had a door leading to the bathroom outside. Theo settled his bag on the bed and lay there for a bit while the Tavern owner sent some food to his room along with a kettle that he could keep near the fireplace for warm water. Theo was thankful for everything.

Theo's thoughts kept wandering towards his mate, who must be in great pain as Theo had blacked their mate bond and hence Pierce could not reach him or feel him, he knew this caused great pain. Theo had to take this step he could not put Pierce and his family in harm's way. He had done enough he needed to control his powers before he could even think of returning.

Theo's mind was set he will find this hermit, he could sense magic in this area and since the townfolk were mostly human the witch hadn't even tried to hide his powers and Theo was sure just as he could sense the hermit's powers that hermit must have sensed him coming.

The next day, Theo headed for the woods after thanking the Tavern owner for his hospitality and paying him handsomely for his services. As Theo was leaving the Tavern owner said " It would be a shame if you disappeared in these woods watch out for bears and wolfs ."

Theo smiled and left, Theo's wolf snarled as he could sense wild wolfs in the woods. Theo started his walk into the snowy forest. He could sense the wild wolf pack surrounding him the minute he entered their territory. He knew that they wanted him to leave or die. He was about to phase when he saw the wolf pack surrounding him baring their teeth and growling in his direction when he heard a whistle, it was sharp he closed his ears but saw the wolf pack running away with their tails tucked between their legs.

He saw a man walking towards him wearing bear skin as winter clothing. Theo stood up and took a step back in to take a fighting stance as he had seen Pierce do many times during his fighting practice and narrowed his eyes in the man's direction. The man lifted his head and Theo could sense magic coursing through him. Theo " Who are you ?"

Raphael " Boy! The question is do you know who you are ?"

Theo " I have come here to meet you. I can sense your magic. I have been able to sense it since I entered the North towns."

Raphael "haha haha... You could sense you because I let you sense me, I have been sensing you since you gained your witch at the age of 18, you were a little late since most gain their witching half at 16 or 17 but you boy are special, so is your witch ."

Theo " You know Sage. Then you know why I have come."

Raphael " I know you, Theo, sage is you that you have suppressed all your life and I know why you have come, you are powerful very powerful and you have been exposed, if you cant channelize your powers, you will not be safe neither will your loved one's be safe ."

Theo " You know my family ?" He teared up at the thought of his loved ones.

Raphael "Let's talk more at my place. Come boy we have much to discuss."

Theo followed the old Hermit, he was relieved that the hermit knew of his struggles.

Raphael opened a portal and stepped in, Theo looked on he could see that there was greenery, flowers, and birds it was a meadow with a small cottage on the other side of the portal whereas where he stood was snow and barren lands. Theo was puzzled but stepped through the portal which closed behind him.

Theo went to the hermit's cottage where he saw that the hermit was using magic to do everything, wash clothes, water his plants, make tea and serve food. He sat with the hermit in what seemed to be the dining room in the hermit's house. Tea was served.

Theo " Thank you for your hospitality. May I know who you are ?"

Raphael " Boy I have lived for many years and had more names than I can remember and since most of my clan perished in the fight, I have masked my magic and lived alone. My name is Raphael Lewis, I was one of the clan elders of the Moonlight clan, your mother's clan I believe ." He smiled at Theo

Theo " How. How do you know my mother ?"

Raphael "hahaha boy I might not look it I am quite powerful too, I am a clan elder I know everything I wish to know and I see everything I wish to see, I saw you descend to power through Sage, I saw you and your mate, I saw you bond with Sage and I saw the destruction caused by you ."

Theo " That was Sage ."

Rapahel " Boy sage is you and you are Sage as I said before Sage is the repressed you. What happened that day was not Sage it was you ."

Theo was shocked " I did not want to do what happened ."

Raphael " Theo the truth is never easy, Sage is a medium he does what you want to do, the only difference is that Sage allows you to feel that you had no part in what happened. It's like having a twin, he takes the blame for your actions ." Raphael sipped his tea as he looked at Theo.

Theo did not know what hit him " I wanted to hurt Alpha Dante for what he did but I did not intend to harm anyone else ."

Rapahel " Neither did Sage ."

Theo looked at the floor guiltily, he had been blaming Sage for everything wrong in his life.

Raphael " Theo, Sage is a manifestation of your powers as a witch you think you have no control over him. But sage only does what you want to do, it's you who needs to control yourself and your powers. Sage is you and you are sage ."

Raphael got up and walked into the house " Come, Theo, I know you seek help in controlling your powers. Rest today. We will start tomorrow."

Theo " Why are you helping me ?"

Raphael " Because boy, that is my destiny. We all have a purpose I was wondering what was mine. It was to train you once I have fulfilled my purpose the moon goddess may grant me passage into the afterlife. You fulfil my purpose ."

Theo " What if I can't do it ?"

Raphael " Then I would have failed to fulfil my purpose and I don't intend to do that, I have been planning for your arrival since your 18th birthday. Plus the young ones need rest too ."

The " Young ones?"
