Slash???

Larota was outside for a walk. She couldn't stay all day in the lair. Especially with all the couples around her. She was happy for them, but sometimes she couldn't stand them. It hurted that she was still alone, but a relationship just because she felt lonely was not an option.

She took a deep breath from the fresh air. Sometimes she just forget that the sewer smell very bad.

Larota heard a noise behind her and turned around. The shadows revealed Slash and Larotas chill came back.

"Larota. You are the strongest and most beautiful turtle I ever saw. Do you want me to be the happiest turtle alive and be mine?" Slash got the yellow rose he hold behind his back towards her now.

"What?" Larota was really overwhelmed. Slash had a crush on her? She knew Chompy had an obsession with her, but Slash?

"Slash, I am sorry. I never tell anyone what to do when it comes to love, but you can't have her." Raphael came from the different direction than Slash towards them.

"Why? Age gap? Height? I am not good enough?" Larota put a hand on her hips. She hates it when somebody told her what to do.

"No. I would miss you. I am so used to you being around that I didn't noticed what was right before my eyes. I can't let you go without telling you that I love you." Raphael was nervous. This was not how he wanted to tell her. He knew that she hadn't good experience with men before and that it was one reason she took a long time to trust their sword welding leader. He wanted to make sure first that she was comfortable with himself.

Larota blood rushed into her cheeks. She must be dreaming or heard wrong. Raphael loving her? Was it a joke and someone would laugh at her? Again a lie towards the one who was declared as unlovable.

"Sure. It is just a feeling of comfortable you have for me." Larota rolled her eyes in disbelief.

"I don't care how long it will takes that you will accept that my feelings are true. And when I have to tell you it every day for the rest of my life. If there is a chance that we will work out I will do it. No jokes. No lies." Raphael took her hand and hold it to his plastron so she could feel his heart beat.

"You know I am not easy to love." Larota looked away trying to get out of this situation.

"Yes and I understand why. I will not take it personally. I will give you time and you decide what you want and tell me when you don't like something." Raphael put his hand on her cheek and lifted her chin up. "You don't need to give me an answer now. Take your time. I want that you really know what you want."

"But I know what I want." Larotas eyes locked with his again. Noticing how near he was. Without thinking their lips touched and they kissed.

After it Larota buried her face in his plastron. Feeling ashamed and still overwhelmed. Raphael put her arms around her and hold her close.

"I took it as a yes as long you don't say it otherwise." Raphael gave her a kiss on the head.

"Took you two long enough." Slash shuckled and Chompy squeaked happy on his shoulder.
