I was never a coffee person
I always disliked the bitterness
In its taste
But here I am sitting with a mug
In hand, getting lost in the rich
Brown swirls.
The cup's lips leave traces of sugar o
on my tongue making me sigh in content

You're more of a coffee person
But you've decided to try out tea
Knowing that you'll probably go back
to your same old habits
Leaving the tea box to collect dust

We've both got an enjoyment of
Nicotine
Maybe that's what our lips
addicted to each other touch
But like a cigarette it only lasts
a few minutes till the craving is gone
