Sundrop x Moondrop

Chapter 22

🌜Moondrop's🌛 POV:

          I flew to the balcony of the 'Sky stage' and unhooked myself off of the hook of mine. Sunny is probably in our room, what could she be doing? Maybe drawing, humming the Daycare song because that's the only melody that can be heard here usually, or maybe she's not even here. I can't guarantee she's here. Maybe Sun is somewhere out there with Chica and Roxanne. Who knows.

          As I slowly walked up to our room, I got a relief to myself. Sundrop was peacefully laying in our bed. My Starlight look so small, tiny, adorable and innocent being still like that. Cute.

🌜- Hey Starshine~ Resting there? - I spoke softly, not knowing if she's asleep or just resting.

🌞- Oh, hello there Moony! I was just relaxing a little bit. - She's awake, good.

🌜- Nice. Well, did you notice something?

🌞- Uhm, I don't think so? Maybe the thing that the Daycare music isn't hearable in our room anymore?

🌜- So, uhm, there's no music at all.

🌞- WHAT!?

🌜- Hey, calm down. I checked everything and it seems like the old speakers are broken. We will just order some new ones.

🌞- Yeah, you're right. I will order them later. These ones were pretty old anyway.

          Well, I am glad that we got that done. It is not such a big deal, they are replaceable. The only problem is that it would be hard to replace all of them and reconnect the cables. They are all high so Sundrop cannot do it. She can not fly. It's not a problem for me to do it though. But oh man, I don't think they will be here today, I won't be here tomorrow. Speaking of that...

🌜- Hey Sunny, I got some news.

🌞- Oh, really? What are they?

🌜- I will be going to the airport tomorrow morning. Going on a flight for French.

🌞- Tomorrow? That soon?

🌜- Well, it seems like it.

🌞- Then, that's fine. We can spend a day together today! Not to waste any of our time.

🌜- Right what I thought. What would you like to do?

🌞- Hmmm... Maybe go finger paint? I don't remember the last time you did some finger paint with me!

🌜- Haha, you wanna be a child today?

🌞- You can never be too old to have some fun. And beside that, we are ageless anyways, hehe.

🌜- I guess you are right, my little star. Let's go down the Daycare for the material.

          It was a very silly idea yet something that could and should be expected from someone like Sundrop. However, that does not mean that it is a bad idea, of course not. Why wouldn't we do it? Be a little creative and I am honestly totally fine with everything if it means that it will make my Starlight happy.

          We got on the balcony of the 'Sky stage' and I saw Sunny wanting to jump down into the ball pit as she would usually do to get down. But I don't really think it is much safe for her to jump from this high place all the way down there. I mean, it's not really made for humans to jump. And that colourful balls of the pit don't look so soft, so yeah.
