The crew was performing maintenance in their areas of specialties. You and Mack unfortunately had to work together.
He kept glaring at you and mumbling under his breath.
When you dropped something, he assumed you threw it and rolled his eyes. "Chill."
"You don't get to tell me to chill. All I did was drop a wrench."
"Whatever, Cap." He rolled his eyes again.
"Hey! I am your Captain here!" He looked up at you. "And as your Captain, I demand respect! You can't just go around disrespecting me, that's how you get fired!..." He didn't respond. "You wanna get fired?"
"No."
"You wanna get demoted?"
"No."
"You wanna get thrown out of the airlock? I'm sure there's something you can fix from the outside!"
"No!"
"...Then show some respect."
"...Fine-"
"That's 'yes, Captain' to you." He was silent again. "You hear me? Are you listening to me?"
"Yyessss-ah, ...Captain." He spoke slowly and clearly.
Good. That should get him to behave for a while.
