STACEYS POV:

I stormed into the dorm noticing Y/n was already asleep. I envied her ability to zone out and avoid society, usually society avoided me, but she didn't. Quietly I try to creep around the dorm without waking her, though that didn't last long. A knock on the door was all it took for me to blow. "What the fuck do you want!?" I yelled. The new year took a step back, most likely in shock. Looking the small brat up and down they started to tremble before running off scared.

Slamming the door shut I turned back round and looked at the mess on my half of the room. I began organising my side of the dorm. Hours past before I was finally finished. Y/n was still sound asleep. Normally she snores so she must've been in a deep slumber so it was unlikely I were to wake her thankfully.

The next day I noticed she was up before me, I assumed she was at breakfast but I didn't plan on talking to her yet as I was still a bit 'out of it'. Once I got to the great hall I noticed she wasn't in her usual spot by Fred and George. I looked around and she wasn't with Cedric either. Taking a deep breathe I tried to calm down knowing it wasn't any of my business where she was, and slumped myself down at the table.

Y/NS POV:

Last night I got back earlier than expected (even though it was still late) but luckily Stacey had fallen asleep by the time I was back, so I didn't have to worry about waiting outside. I climbed back into the window before pausing to admire the stars, though I soon got into bed. I laid there for a bit before feeling uneasy. I wasn't getting to sleep anytime soon. I climbed back out the window falling asleep on the turret roof.

I was awoken by the rising sun and a smile of my face as the beaming light met my eyes. Looking down I admired the Black Lake, and watched over the Quidditch field as morning practice began. Soon I turned my head looking to the portkey and feeling an overwhelming amount of guilt. "I did what I had to," I  mumbled reminding myself. In the end I decided to skip breakfast and spend a bit longer looking down on Hogwarts.

Not too long later I noticed people moving and I assumed class was starting. Unsure of what class I had first I re-entered my dorm skim-reading my schedule for the day. After having roughly gone through my timetable for the day I grabbed my books and walked off to my next class.

I arrived at D.A.D.A realising I didn't know anybody in the class. Quickly I sped out of the room confused. My eyes were widened and I nervously stood outside the class confused, that was until I heard his voice. "God you're everywhere," Riddle groaned. My jaw dropped pretending to be offended as I turned recognising the voice. I soon responed, "Shouldn't you be in class?" He chuckled, "Shouldn't you?" I rolled my eyes knowing I couldn't argue with him on that one. "C'mon," He said grabbing my hand.

Riddle walked off dragging me with him. I was deeply confused but kept quiet. My eyes were on our hands, I felt kind of uncomfortable to begin with, but at the same time I felt safe near him.

A short while of walking we arrived at potions. That's when I noticed. I read the wrong timetable. I felt embarrassed and could feel myself turning bright right taking my hand away from Riddles. I covered my face until I'd calmed down. "You alright..." His voice started to trail off with confusion. "I'm fine," I spat back entering the class.

"You're Late," Snape said. No shit.

"Sorry Professor, I read my schedule wrong," I stated in defence. He raised his eyebrow, "I suppose the same goes for you?" Snape looked to Riddle and he simply rolled his eyes sitting down. "You'll both be receiving detention after school this evening," Snape informed us. The twins looked at me concerned, as I hid my head in my arms leaning on the table.

Lunch came 'round sooner than expected and the twins and I had much to discuss. "Two weeks into the school year and you've already got detention," George sighed. I sat my head on the table again feeling deflated. "Can we change the subject please?" I asked. Fred spoke up, "Y/n have you seen Lovegood at all?" I slowly sat myself up again, "Little Lovegood or Our Lovegood?" I asked. "Thena," He confirmed. I shook my head lightly as concern began to grow. "Maybe Cedric's seen her," I said trying to be optimistic. "Yeah maybe," George chimed in. "Yeah," Fred said agreeing. I smiled at him and he smiled back. They'd decided to ask Cedric after school so I wouldn't be there to find out but it was alright I suppose.

With moods boosted we continued the day slightly more energised. That was before I had detention. The pair laughed at me before being forced out to the Forbidden forest. As I made my way to Hagrids hut I flipped them off until noticing my brother. I rushed over to the trio and some kid with Platnium blonde hair. I looked to him, then Harry, then him again, and back to Harry again. Harry simply shook his head looking me dead in the eye. Harry did the same when Riddle showed up. I shook my head too. Hermione and Ron looked to each other as if Harry and I had just spoken another language.

Hagrid explained to us what we were doing. The blondie looked scared to death, and I could tell the others were a bit nervous too. I didn't really care, it actually looked kind of interesting out here. Once Hagrid told us we were splitting up I could see the new years hearts drop. I tried not to laugh, though I snapped out of it after being paired with... you guessed it..... Riddle.
