Jealousy

as we drove around the corner to the house chloes mouth dropped in awe

''its even better in real life!'' she whispered

'' duh , everything is , even people.''

we giggled and jumped out the car and heaved chloes bags out of the boot. selena said she was going to head back to her house now and see her mum. we agreed to go shopping tommorow with maddie. we dragged chloes bags upstairs and i dropped them on her bed, we then got changed into our swimming costumes and legged it to the pool where we dive bommed in. we messed around until it started to get so dark that the pool lights turned themselves on. then we realised that we hadnt had any kind of tea yet so went inside and asked mum where we could eat. seeing as there was nothing in the pantry mum said we could go out. we decided on the red lobster. also , living in america meant that there was target. me and chloe were both pretty youtube obsessed and we watched so many american youtubers and they all went to target and found some pretty cool stuff. so after tea we went to target. it was really quite because it was late ,but it was a good thing because it meant we could shout across the store to each other and we didnt really bother anyone.

put it this way, target was as good as we had imagined and we spent quite a lot of money! we lumbered out of the store and sang to selena gomez songs ,really loudly, all the way home.

the next morning we were both excited to be going shopping. maddie turned up to my house quite early ,she only lived across the street on the disney estate and selena the same, she was going to drive us into town.

maddie was acting weirdly around me now chloe was here, she was very clingy and always wanted to sit next to me or if i has to put my bags down to do something she would rush forward and take them from me. i think selena and chloe saw this to, either from my face or just the way maddie was always there helping me with the smallest of things that they knew i could do easily myself.

in mcdonalds i excused myself to go to the bathroom and .as expected, maddie immediatly followed me. that was it , it was nice she was just being a good friend but it really was annoying.

''look maddie , why are you so clingy today? i can do things myself and sit next to who i want you know.''

she looked hurt but also guilty. she sighed before saying

''im sorry, i was jealous that chloe was here and i was scared that you would forget me and that i would feel left out, i was jealous that chloe was your bestfriend, cos i wanted to be.''

''maddie chloe has been my best friend for a very long time now, i moved half way across the world from her, of corse im going to want to want to sit next to her , because when she leaves and goes back to england in a few weeks , i honestly dont know when i will see her again. im going to see you nearly everyday now! we will probably do everything together.''

'' Abigail i didnt realise, i shouldnt have been so selfish, chloes lovely and now i see that moving so far away from her must be hard. my friends arent as far away from me as yours are , im sorry, i really am.''

i brought her in for a hug.

''look lets go back out and finish eating , then go back to mine, we did a lot of shopping today!''

 

we walked out of the bathroom and back to our table where the other two were in a deep convosation about something, we sat down and finished then, as planned went back to mine and once again into the pool, and we ordered pizza, it was a whole lot of fun.

later on that night i explained to chloe why maddie was being so weird. she understood and we forgot about the whole thing. hopefully we could just enjoy the rest of the time she was here now.
