Taehyung and I have been dating for ten weeks now. Dating him was one of the most amazing things that I have ever done. I was beyond delighted with him. He knew how to make me happy whenever I am sad. He will do anything just to see a smile on my face. We both sneaked out of college early so that we could go out on dates, or see movie together.

I have told my parents about me dating him, they were happy for me, but they wanted to meet him in person and today is the day when my parents are going to meet Taehyung finally. My parents have invited him for lunch with us.

I gazed at the clock, 2:00 PM he could be here anytime soon. I kept on tapping my feet on the floor, feeling nervous. My parents came and sat beside me. "Are you nervous?" My mom asked me as I nodded my head as "yes". "Why?" My dad asked. "Just worried what if you did not like him" I said, making my parents giggle.

"Of course we will love him after all you have told me about him, that guy is a pure gem, who can do anything for you" My mom spoke as a blush crept on my face. "Someone is blushing" my dad teased me. "Dad !" I shouted as my parents laughed while we were laughing we heard our bell ring, as my heart began to beat nervously.

"Welcome home Taehyung" My parents welcomed him. By looking at him I can say that he is not scared, nervous, he looks confident. "Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Jung" He thanked my parents as they asked him to sit on the sofa beside me.

My parents sat in front of us. "It is great to finally meet you Taehyung, Y/n always tell us a lot about you" My dad spoke. "It is great to meet you too Mr. and Mrs. Jung" He smiled at my parents. "I have also heard a lot of good things about you too," he added as he gazed at me.

I smiled at him. "I think we can talk later. first let's have lunch" My mom spoke as the guys nodded. "Honey help me arrange the plate" my mom looked at my dad, as he got up and both of them walked to the kitchen. I turned my head to Taehyung. "How come you are so calm Tae? Over here I was dying out of nervousness" I looked at him. He smiled saying "even I don't know"

"Y/n and Taehyung come and have lunch" I heard my mom shout. Taehyung and I walked to the kitchen and I sat on the chair beside Taehyung. And we began to have lunch

Our lunch was done a few hours ago. My parents and Taehyung have been talking for a few hours now. Taehyung had been giggled and smiling through the whole conversation which made me feel delighted.

Everything was going fine, at least that is what I thought until this topic came in. "Y/n have you told him about you going to new york?" My dad asked me as Taehyung gazed at me in confusion and asked my dad "Why is she going to New york?"

"She has gotten into Columbia university, she is going there to get her BBA - Bachelor of Business Administration" That sentence was enough to make him look at me in shock. He was beyond shocked in fact. As I bit my lips, there was nothing that I hid from him expect this one because I did not know how he will react to it.

"That is great" He said as he smiled at me, I could see he was hurt through his eyes.
