The War Of The Worlds: A New Beginning

Prologue

No one would have believed In the last years of the nineteenth century That human affairs were being watched from the timeless worlds of space. No one could have dreamed that we were being scrutinized, As someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets And yet, across the gulf of space, Minds immeasurably superior to ours. Regarded this Earth with envious eyes. And slowly and surely, they drew their plans against us

In the harsh deserts of mars..

Only one species exists: Martians

No one would've believed, that sort of species even existed on this harsh, remote planet

One of the Martian taxis walked towards a "city" carrying a lone Martian in it's cavernous cockpit

Inside the town hall, one of the Martians(one of the senior elders, to be exact) was executed due to the lack of responsibility he had.

"What an inexplicable incident. I fear that mars will soon run out of space for our kind to live in." Said the chief elder

"Mars is not suitable enough due to our buildings being placed too close to each other. This largely reduces space" He explained

The light shines on another Martian, and he too explains the problem

"Mars is incapable of sustaining life, and because of that our water supply and supply of red weed is also shrinking, we need to find a new source and FAST."

He shows a picture of the earth

"This, is Earth, otherwise known to our kind as Celestial Body 713FGDS823 in Sector B Uniform 237 - 9. A planet full of organisms known to us, as humans. Some may believe they do not exist, but they do and they're thriving in this planet full of green, full of vegetation and animals. It's not anything like mars."

"The means for this invasion to overcome the natural resources have already been realized." Another Martian explained

"A Large Scale Hydrogen Accelerator will be constructed, this will carry suspension pods carrying our assault forces. We have also calculated that it would take 10 uses before being rendered unusable, our first force will be a reconnaissance team consisting of 5 Pods and the second wave will bring another 5."

"We have not established a full on invasion and not required such destructive weaponry for over 130 years , but modifications to our current technology will take place. And plans to construct new vehicles will be made, this combination should be adequate and enough to overturn the inferior human race."

And so.. the invasion begins...
