My Paradise

This is your paradise.

The sound of the palm trees rustling in your ear, the warm mist hitting your face ever so gently.

This is your paradise.

The lukewarm water you inevitably step in while walking across the never-ending plane of sand and water.

This is your paradise.

Maybe it's the big marble pillars holding up the ruins of what seemed to be the interior of a museum.

Where did those come from? I wouldn't know, because after all...

This is your paradise.

You know it's quite peaceful here.

It's got everything you could want or ever need.

The air is just right, with no pollution slowly smothering you as the days pass, and it gets harder to breathe, BREATHE!

Goodness, you almost lost yourself there.

As you walk steadily taking in how everything just fits together so flawlessly; with every step you take just leaving the perfect footprint in the sand just like the last.

Your mind is too occupied with the thought of why the sand doesn't get wet in the water.

Well, that takes care of the icky feeling you get when you get out of the water and step on the sand just to have your little feet coated in a mix of wet and dry sand.

You seem to be so occupied with this and not the building in which you're standing by.

How is it that you haven't noticed your home? I must say you aren't the most observant fellow...

Don't you remember? This is your home!

Every room is open to the great outdoors.

No solid walls, just beams of solid white matter...

You were never too much of an architect, so to your knowledge, these support beams could be made from the tusks of a dozen elephants.

Now that it's been said the support beams do look as if they take on the color of ivory.

Take a peek upstairs.

As you make your way upstairs, you'll see a beautiful luxurious bed with a mountain of pillows, and to finish it off it has a most magnificent light pink tulle curtain surrounding it.

Now step into the bathroom and view the glass walls that separate you from the outside world.

You made this, you made the house, the pillars, the transparent turquoise waters, the flakes of gold sprinkled in the water which are to fall upon your head if you so choose to take a much needed shower...

This is a lot to take in after all.

This is a lot to take in so why don't you rest?

Go ahead now, the room is lit and not a shadow is to be seen, just how you like it.

You would never openly admit it, but now that It's just you don't be afraid to shout that you're afraid of the night and what lies behind the chilling vibes of the darkness.

It's okay.

No shadows will follow you into your dreams here...

You're at peace.
