Chapter 1

3rd pov

Lo'ak walks back into the clans territory, people staring and whispering about him as he looks down ashamed, people often calling him names and not including him with others. He walks back to his home as everyone is already eating dinner, not waiting for him.

"I'm here" he says sitting down with them. "What took you so long?" Jake says to him as he shrugs. "I just lost time I guess" he replies. Lo'ak often got in trouble, making him not liked even more.

(They finish dinner and head to bed)

Loak lays on his bed in his room as he sighs staring to the ceiling. He often thought about just running away, leaving everyone behind and living alone in the forest. People probably wouldn't notice him gone. He thought as he drifted off to sleep.

(In the morning)

He wakes up and crawls out his bed and stretches his arms. He walks over to where his brother is and sees Kiri and Tuk with him, "yo baby bro we're going to the forest soon, wanna come?" Neteyam says looking at lo'ak.

"Yeah sure, I got nothing better to do" he answers as they all head out.

They see spider and ask if he want to come too, he agrees as he's walks over to the, and walks next to Kiri.

As They Wave goodbye to there parents, they all walk past others as they stare at lo'ak in discust.

Lo'ak looks back down as they head into the forest. "Come on Tuk!" Kiri says while Tuk is playing with a plant. She gets up and follows us holding Neteyams hand.

Neteyam was seen as the perfect brother to have, lo'ak after tried to be like him but people just thought he was weird. He was often in Neteyams shadow, trying to be like him so others would finally like him.

They stumble across an abandoned helicopter caught in vines. "Are there any dead bodies in there?" Spider grins as Neteyam check inside.

They all continue to walk as loak walks ahead of the others. When he hears a thanitor hiss as it looks at him. He stares at it scared as he begins to run.

"Run lo'ak! Run!" Neteyam yells as lo'ak is chased into the forest.

He begins to loose his breath as he slows down a bit, the thanitor catching up to him. He stops at the edge of a cliff, it being a massive waterfall with a dove at the bottom. The thanitor is almost at him as he quickly jumps down into the water screaming.

He gets pushed around underwater as he pulls his head up. Ghasping for air. "Yeah that's right!" He yells as the Thanitor hisses at him and runs off.

He quickly realises that he's lost as he swims to the land and lays there. The sun begining to set. He gets up and looks around worried, how was he going to get back home? How far was he from home? He questions as he stands in the forest, it getting darker by the minute. Little does he know he being watched.

Lo'ak pov

I look around frantically, trying to figure out where I am. I am so going get killed when I get back, if I get back that is. I hear rustling in the trees as I quickly look over to it, scared of what could be hiding.

I see a glowing yellow eye peeking at me behind a tree. I stare back at it, hoping it's someone who can help. "H-hello?" I say as it swiftly moves away. "Wait! Please don't go!" I say holding my arm out. The eye returning as another appears.

"Can you help me? I'm lost" I say desperate as the figure slowly walk over to me. I squint at the figure to see if I know them.

The figure continues to walk up to me, getting closer to my face by the second. They are taller than me so I guess there older.

"W-who are you?" I say nervous as the dark figure

The figure quickly taps the plant next to them as it glows, showing there face to me. It's a boy, I've never seen him before. With a darker shade of blue to mine. He stares at me as he begins to walk around me, examining me. "Who. Who are you?" I say to no response.

"I'm lo'ak" I say as he's infront of me again, him leaning over me. I feel intimidated as he squints in my face. He touches my beads in my hair as he stares at them. Looking at my bracelets and necklace.

"Uh, what are you doing?" I ask him with no response again.

"Lo'ak.." he only says walking back to the front of me with his eyes widening. "Yes, lo'ak" I say back as he begins to walk away.

"Hey wait!" I yell back grabbing his arm. He turns his head back and looks down at my hand in confusion. I let go as I think he's uncomfortable, but he only stares at it.

He gently touches it and raises it to his face. He widens his eyes looking at it turning his head a bit. He touches my pinkie and wiggles it, looking at it confused. He puts his hand on mine, it a bit bigger as he smiles. His smile makes my heart skip a beat as I look at him.

He silently looks down at me smiling. "I know, I'm weird" I say as he only stares back. Our hands still touching each other.

"Y/N" he only says as I hear his voice. It's softer than I thought it would be, I expected it to be a lot deeper than it was as he only stares at me.

"Y/N? Is that your name?" I ask as he only nods. He had a muscular build with a small waist. I stared at him as he took his hand of mine and ran off. "Hey wait!" I say but he was already gone.

Well great what do I go now. I think as I'm left alone again.
