Conventional Embarrassment ( Jensen Ackles)

Part 1

Jensen POV

"She's not answering her phone man. Fuck where is she?" Jensen Ackles exclaimed to his co-star and brother from another mother best friend, Jared Padalecki.

It had been five months since he had met Angelina Winters, back in his hometown of Austin, Texas. She had come barreling into his life and had much such a big impact there was no denying he was a changed man. Everyone he knew commented on how much happier he was now days. Jared had even teased that Angelina must have really been an angel to get Jensen out of his grumpy moods.

"Calm down Ackles. Did she say she was definitely coming?"

" No, I completely made up the conversation in my head. Of course she said she was coming, that's way we planned to meet here at the Seattle Convention. She's never been to one before and this one was the closest to home and soonest on the calendar." Jensen exclaimed in frustration at his brother, while putting his phone away. He had been checking his phone for messages and for the time, in between taking photos with their fans during the photo op hour.

"Hi there Sweetheart. How would you like us to pose with you today?" Jensen asked the next fan in the queue. He was drawing on years of doing Convention and the bottom of his acting barrel at this point to keep the smile on his face. His fans didn't need to know about his inner turmoil and complicated love life. Did he even have a love life, if he hadn't seen the woman he was in love with in five months? What, shit was in love with her? No, they had spent one weekend together, and yes they had spent the last five talking non stop over the phone.. But love? No it was too soon for that word. Like , he really liked her. But no you can't really have a like life can you? FUCK!! He was going to drive himself insane. Give himself grey hairs and then he wouldn't be able to tease Jar about his grey.

"When did you last chat with her?" Jared asked, seeing his friend was on the verge of an internal breakdown. Watching his friend these last few months had been interesting and he was very excited himself to meet this mystery woman.

"Yesterday morning as I was getting on the plane. She was going to finish packing, meet up with her sister, well she's her cousin really but they are like sisters, never mind." Jensen said, realising that Jared didn't need to know the intricate details of how Tish was related. They saw themselves as sisters, just like he and Jar saw themselves as brothers. He remembered when he first heard about Tisha, he thought Angelina was playing a joke on him, considering he meet Dee on the set of 12 Inch hero and her characters name was Tish. Shaking the thought from his mind, he continued, "They were then driving down to Seattle. She should have been here late last night. I checked with reception this morning before the Meet and Greet and they hadn't checked in yet. They have tickets for the photo op, but time is almost up."

Jared was about to reply, when he was interrupted by an argument happening outside the photo op curtain.

"So you telling we can take in the baked goods that I could be poisoning the boys with, but I can't take the crutches in cause its seen as a weapon, even though I cant walk without them? Are you fucking kidding me right now? Look I understand there are rules and you are just following them..." A woman's raised voice could be heard yelling.

"What the hell is going on?" Jared asked and then watched bewilderingly as Jensen laughed and then ran out the Ops room.

'She's here! She's here.' was he could think as he ran over to the door way, and flung back the curtain. Pausing for a second, to confirm he eyesight was correct, he then continued to run up to her , swing her into his embrace and hug her to him. " Angelina!, Fuck I was thinking you changed your mind and weren't going to come?" He rushed out in relief. Pulling back from the embrace, he clasped her face in his huge hands and kissed her, with five months of pent up emotions.

'Fuck so maybe love is the word he needed to use" He thought to himself.
