"La mer, Qu'on voit danser, Le long des golfes clairs, A des reflets d'argent, La mer

Des reflets changeants, Sous la pluie..." The Radio played La Mer, flying through the endless cold space. Neo in the cargo hold was hissing every now and again while those foolish colleges of mine were cowering in fear from a beautiful creation. MY beautiful creation. Checking the fuel of the ship, the main tank was only ¾ used, with the two reserve tanks still being full, enough to make the journey to a planet that Hyperion had found a few years back, one that had a primitive form of life inhabiting it. "....La mer. Qu'au ciel d'été confond, Ses blancs moutons Avec les anges si purs, La mer. Bergère d'azur, infinie..." Listening to La Mer is soothing, a song about the ocean and its beauty. Neo was my océan, and mine only.

"Ce ne sont que mes nouvelles expériences..." I muttered to myself, putting the ship on autopilot, leaving the pilot seat and going down the hatch, climbing the ladder down to the cargo bay. Gazing at the four researchers, one of which was female, and the two prisoners, I could see they were on edge, as well as incredibly confused as to how I am so calm, while placing my hand on Neo's shoulder. Neo in response, calmed down, backing up only 5 feet behind me as I looked back at the individuals.

"W-why isn't it being hostile to you?! What the h-"

"That 'It' is a she, and she is my creation. She knows who her maker is, and that I have no ill intentions like the rest of Hyperion" I Interrupted the female researcher as Neo gave a soft hiss, causing her to shut up. "Unlike me or Neo, the rest of you are just abhorrent, fragile, unintelligent and misunderstanding creatures. However, there is a chance for... anyone of you to be of use to me and Neo... If you're interested" I stated. One of the prisoners had looked both confident and interested, standing up.

"I am Interested" The Prisoner responded gaining the attention of the other five. I smiled in response, stepping off to the side.

"Then Please, step up to Neo, and kneel" I suggested, to which they did, approaching Neo, once he was close, he kneeled, though hesitantly. I watched curiously as Neo stood up more straight, slowly encroaching on the prisoner, raising both her claws to his head, opening her jaw which leaked a silvery substance. Before he could even react to my Neo, she quickly bit his neck as he groaned in pain, and Neo let go.

"W-what the hell?!" He exclaimed, getting up. I offered no answer, observing. When he turned to look at me, both his legs had given out, bringing him to his hands and knees as he was getting weaker, most of his veins were now dimly glowing a white as he fell unconscious, and these, root-like veins spreaded from his body onto the ground around him, all the while a bubbling substance took rise from his body that was on the ground, before it took the form of a cocoon. Looking at the other four, they were quite horrified, but I was feeling an endless infatuation for my plans ahead, as the ship landed, the doors opening to a cave entrance.

"Help with setting up a lab" I ordered them. They were hesitant at first, that was before I threatened them with precision bullets to the skull and brain stem surgery. Neo stayed close to me as I had the four new test subjects bring and followed with the equipment that I needed for my own research. I could notice Neo curiously looking around as this was an old Xeno Hive, one that Hyperion had destroyed long ago; The remains of unrotten yet battered Xenomorph Corpses, the burn marks that told a grim story of use, even dead Hyperion soldiers with their gear still intact, some missing parts of their ribs, or hung by the resin, some even still impaled by the body of a xenomorph they were killed by. This was Ground Zero for a lot of things; The Exalted Hyperion, Hunter, The Hybrid Project, Nexus, even this..... Xenix.... Although, maybe not this place exactly. I didn't keep my eyes off of my subjects, until we reached a completely intact, 15 by 15 Chamber. Knowing Xenomorphs how their primitive yet highly intelligent species works, this would be one of the various rooms where they would have their prey attached to the Resin with various eggs in place; with the Rotting corpses and the remains of destroyed eggs, that was the case here.
