Hermione's POV: 

Hermione was glad to be back at school, she had Defense Against Dark Arts next, she wasn't sure she would like it, Professor Umbridge was already sat down on her seat, once the Gryffindor's and Slytherin's got into their seats, she stood up.

" Well, good afternoon students. "

A few people mumbled a quiet ' good afternoon ' in reply.

Umbridge tutted loudly, " When i say good afternoon, i would like you all to say ' Good afternoon Professor Umbridge.' Now then. lets try again! Good afternoon class!"

" Good afternoon professor Umbridge " the class chanted

Beside Hermione Ron was staring at Umbridge with his mouth open, " Can you believe her! it's like we're children! " he whispered to Harry, Nico and Will were also looking at Umbridge in distaste. 

" Now, i would like you all to open your copies of defensive magical theory by Wilbert Slinkhard. Turn to page 5 and read 'Chapter 1, basics for beginners."

everyone sighed and turned to that page and started reading. Only Hermione wasn't reading, she was staring fixedly at Umbridge with her hand in the air. Professor Umbridge looked at her in distaste. " well, what do you need help with Ms. -?

" Granger Miss, i've got a query on your course aims. " Hermione stated confidently.

" Well, Miss Granger, i think if you would READ the course aims through carefully, i'm sure they would be perfectly clear. " 

" Well i don't" Said Hermione straightforwardly, " There is nothing at all here written about using defensive skills "

"Using defensive spells? " Professor repeated with a soft laugh " Silly girl, you sure aren't expecting an attack during class? "

Nico looked ready to kill , Hermione was like a sister to him, well technically she was his cousin (guys i think that's right Lol, correct me if it's not :) ) And besides NO ONE ever messes with a child of Athena, Calling one of them a ' silly girl ' was an insult beyond the worst.

" Well, we've got to practice spells for the future, haven't we? " Nico asked defiantly, glaring at Umbridge with disgust.

" Again, would you be expecting an attack in the future? " Umbridge said in and annoying sing-song voice. "

Nico glared at her, Umbridge looked nervous but continued " There is nothing to be scared of in the future, it's not as if we're going to get attacked! Unless you know the future ? "

Will raised his hand " surely Miss, i hear there is a powerful wizard? and they say he's  coming back, we've got witnesses that he's back, and besides this lesson is called Defense against dark arts for a reason isn't it, we've got to prepare just in case he comes back, right ? "

Umbridge looked lost for word " W-well. Children it is time for your next class! hurry or your going to be late! " she said rather lamely. She glared at Will, Nico, and Hermione. Nico and Will glared right back.

( guys, i'm running out of creative idea's :( help me think.)

Even though Defense against dark arts had dampened everyone's spirits, Nico, Will, Hermione, and Draco were still excited, they had Mythology next, and duh Annabeth was teaching it, after so many years of not seeing her half-sister, Hermione was literally jumping with excitement.

They walked into the classroom, there was no one in it, All the other's were confused. " huh? where's the teacher? " they muttered or " do we get free lesson ? " or in Ron's case " does this mean we get to go and have lunch early ?! " Hermione rolled her eyes. 

Nico whispered to Hermione, "  Annabeth probably has her invisibility cap on. "

Hermione whispered back " No,  she probably got lost, there are too much staircases at Hogwarts "

Nico grinned mischievously "  Wanna bet? "

" Sure, game on, 10 Drachma's " Hermione's grinned back.

Ron looked confused " What are Drachma's? Besides why are you talking to her? Figured you could get her to like you back if you did? Ha, as if, just look at you, all you wear is black, like black and skeletons? who are you trying to fool, stop trying to be cool."

( guys, i just realized that the last sentence rhymed 🤣)

Nico gave him a glare that would've made the furies fly off in terror. " You idiot, fuck off to Tartarus. πείτε το ξανά και θα το κάνω, you can just put your podex in someone else's business."

Ron and Harry looked dumbfounded . Hermione was shaking in laughter. " Good one, Nico " a familiar voice said amusedly. There was Annabeth, holding her Yankee's cap, which could turn her invisible. 

" Annabeth!! I missed you SO much! "

Annabeth grinned " Missed you too, sis. Hey Nico, your Greek is coming on very well. "

" Eh. " He shrugged

Ron and Harry were looking more confused " Hermione who's this? " 

" Oh yea, let me introduce you, sis this is my friends Harry and Ron. Harry, Ron this is my uhm sister Annabeth, also our Mythology teacher. "

" Cool, i've gotta start the lesson now. Oh yea, sis you owe Nico 10 Drachma's " she grinned.

Nico snickered " Yea pay up, sister-of-the-wise-girl. "

Hermione glared and sighed " Fine. after this lesson. "

" Do we seriously have to learn this? we know this shit, we literally LIVE this shit! " Will complained.

" William Solace, you will shut the fuck up and stop complaining your gonna do this no matter what. " Then Nico rolled his eyes " I swear to the gods, ya elithius. "
