Grace's P.O. V.
I mixed chemical after chemical into the bottle. I was trying to perfect Mr. Wonka's hair taffy for him, without him noticing. An Oompa Loompa had tried one earlier... let's just say it didn't turn out very good.
My name is Grace, I am an orphaned eighteen year old, and I have been secretly living in Mr. Wonka's chocolate factory since I was ten. I know everyone's schedule, so I don't get caught very easily. I am in the Inventing Room, no one is in it. I finished the Chemical, and brought it over to the machine. Earlier I had adjusted it a little, in order to make it really work.
I poured the new chemical into the machine and pushed two buttons. It made some loud noises, and then out from the other end, came a tray of toffees. I took the trey, set it on the table, and wrote a note, just as I heard the door open. I hid behind a machine, a few machines away from the toffee machine, and watched. It was Mr. Wonka and some Oompa Loompas. One of them had a long list, with a pen, and the other was tagging along. Mr. Wonka was talking about something. It seemed important, so I listened closely.
"Now, the children will also come in here, so make sure it has at least one rotten child trap." Mr. Wonka said. Both Oompa Loompa's nodded, and wrote it down. Wait, Mr. Wonka is allowing kids into the factory? What brought this on? Just then I heard,
"Oh! Our mystery person left a note!" I turned my attention back to find Mr. Wonka standing by the freshly made hair toffees. He picked up and read out loud,
"Eat me, these have been newly improved with a chemical that includes mixed together in this exact order, otherwise you would have something blow up." At that he laughed. He looked at the second part of the note and handed it to the Oompa Loompa that had it's hands free. "The machine had a few kinks in it, but I fixed it. Thank you for your time, GTC." he finished.
"I always wondered what that stands for." Mr. Wonka said. The one with the long list shrugged, while the other reached for a toffee. I perked up. This is the moment of truth. To see if I made it right. Dexter, I think that is his name, cautiously put the toffee into his mouth and began to slowly chew on it. He decided it tasted good, so he chewed faster, I could see little hairs coming out around his mouth, he swallowed, and he had a fully grown mustache and beard. I silently rejoiced.
"Well, another candy fixed by the mysterious GTC." exclaimed Mr. Wonka. Both Oompa Loompa's nodded. "So on with what we were talking about. " He said, walking away. The Oompa Loompas followed him and soon they were out of sight and hearing distance. I sighed. And went over to the toffees. "Guess I don't have much to do now. I guess I'll go to the waterfall room." I said to myself, turning to go out.
