*chapter 1*

Tommrow our little trio is going to final selection. I dont know how to feel about it because from what urokodaki said it just sounds like a week without sleep + demons and sabito is like 3x stronger then me so ig ill just like chill in the trees or smth🗿🗿🗿 not sure what tf Giyu is gonna do but I have a feeling he'll be alright.

*time skip the morning😎😎😎*                           

 I heard an annoying voice that sounded like my couisen 

"hey y/n, get up" *silence* "Y/N WAKE TF UP"  Giyu started shaking me vigorously. I open my eyes to an annoying back haired bitch "OK OK IM UP" I say while flicking his forehead He flicked me back and it soon became a war "Yo cut it out you two, we actully have somewhere to go if you couldnt tell" sabito said with a small anger mark on his head "HE STARTED IT" I yelled "NO, I LITERALLY DID NOT"  Sabito walked over and dragged me by the collor of my shirt to the door "HEY WAIT- I-" I shighed in defeat and we all started walking to final slection.

"Im definitely gonna kill the most demons 😚"I said confidently  "pfft- ok miss gets caught in almost every trap" sabito teased. "shut up i only have like 4 scars🙄" "isnt it funny how Sabito and I have 0" Giyu said while snickering "nahh what about sabitos face scar" "y/n, I didnt even get that from training" "a scar is a scar" Sabito just chuckled and looked away

* Timeskip after ariveing at final slection*

I got tired of walking on the way so sabito gave me a piggy-back ride and I fell asleep. I opened my eyes and yawned "ooo purple stuff" I wispered "yeah some normal people even call it wisteria" Giyu said sarcastically I just stuck my tounge at him and jumped off Sabitos back

After the two creepy twin people explained stuff I already knew ( ik im a genis🥱) we headed into the isolated forest (giyuu has gone off to do his own shit or smth 🗿) "Hey, sabito, do you think were gonna have to be awake for like a week straight??" "no, but we'll be awake for at least 4 days straight" I sighed in disappointment. "Soooo that means I have to actually be careful and serious :(" " yep" he said while chuckling I groned " ya know if you just stay by my side you might not get killed "HEY- im not that weak" "uh-huh yeah, okay" he said sarcastically

 suddenly a demon pounced at me and i quickly drew my sword 'fIrSt fOrM sUrFaCE wAtEr sLaSh' and i beheaded it  I blinked a few times because it didnt expect it to be so easy "HAHA FIRST KILL IM BETTER IG" Sabito was silent

He took a deep sigh and mumbled "you scared me idoit" just loud enough for you to hear "huh how-" I look at you and he almost looked angry? but definitely worried "look, just maybe we sould be quieter to avoid that happening" i just nodded and gave him a confused look Sabito doesnt really show much emotion but sarcasm so i didnt really expect that.

3rd person pov (kInDA??)

Sabito and y/n had been walking for a while trying to find a good place to chill for a bit. along the way about 7 demons had pounced at y/n and everytime Sabito beheaded them.  y/ n did wonder was why they were targeting her though... one of them did start mumbling 'mariachi' whatever that means

y/n pov

I was kinnda annoyed that sabito was getting all the kills but also greatful because I would have been long gone by now without him. Honestly I have no idea how his reflexs are that fast they wernt like that during traning at least, and hes been oddly quiet and quiet sabito is actually terrifying not gonna lie. I yawned 'shit how am I alredy tired' "y/n are you sure you dont have a sleep issue or smth?" Sabito said with general concern "no I just really like dreaming" he just nodded "Once sun comes up we can take like a 3-4 hour break" "oki" I said almost half awake he nugged me on the sholder "that does not mean now" he said sternly I wined "finee"

*time skip to daylight* 

Sabito and I sat under a tree that had just enough sunlight to keep demons far away. I was basicly not awake at this point and I rested my head on sabitos shoulder 

Sabitos pov

She fell asleep, im not supprised. y/n and I have been friends for a while now, so it would make sense if I- I blushed and looked away but then I carefully placed her head on my cheast and gently held her in my arms 's-she wouldn't mind right? she'll probably just think of it as platonic or smth...' I slowly drifted into sleep

y/n tramatic backstory timeee! (dream edition)

I watched as my house burst into flames, I heard the screams of my step mother and father but wasnt even the most disturbing part.

 the part that sticks to me the most is the hysterical laughs of my brother Hokuto as he watched our small house burn to the ground. Yes, they treated us bad but- they didnt desrve t-this and if im being honest ive never loved my parents because theyve never loved me, but it takes simple empathy to cry when watching something like this... 

Soon my brothers laughing paused and he turned to me with a straight stare void of emotion and slowly started approaching me with an axe I realized what was happening and ran the other way as fast as I could but being around 7 years old I had a lot of troubble and almost tripped just when he was about the catch me.

 Thats when he saved me... Sabito he saw what was happening and helped me run away into a hiding spot where somehow my brother did not find that day I cried into sabitos chest for hours and I didnt even know who he was...
