{A/N: Story starts in the next chapter, this is just an intro to Lizzie's character. It's also a description of what she looks like. This could get added to as the story goes along.}

Lizzie is a light brown-haired girl who doesn't care what other people think of her. That's why her friends have always been loyal, apart from one.

She likes wearing tank tops & shorts. If she could, that's all she would ever wear Even though she doesn't mind wearing a dress every now & again. She hates it in winter, when she has to tug on the skinny jeans & freeze to death. She has one simple piercing in each ear, usually filled with a smiley-face stud or a small dangly earring.

She has faint green eyes against a pale complexion. She is slightly smaller than average at 5"6. She is slim as well. She is usually quite shy but can be very confident when she needs to be. Most teenagers' parents are divorced, but Lizzie's aren't.

No. Because they were never married. In fact, she had only met her Dad at a very young age. She doesn't know what happened to him, or where he went. Every time she asks her mum she gets tears in her eyes & sidesteps the subject. Lizzie has never been too fussed about it though. She has a terrific mum who puts all her attention - as Lizzie is an only child, yet wishes she had siblings at points - to her 19 year old daughter.

She has never had a lack of friends but you wouldn't say she was popular. Because she hung out with Liam James Payne, the lowest human being in the popular chain..ever. The only thing stopping her from joining him there was that her best friend - Danielle Peazer - who was the most gorgeous, hilarious & popular girl in the school. Unfortunately, Danielle was also Liam's number one hater. She often teased Lizzie for being Liam's only friend, but Lizzie didn't care, she just shrugged it off.

Liz has always had a little thing for Liam but she's too scared to take their friendship to the next level. For once, she is worried about what other people would think of her. It's not a good feeling.
