"he's just a normal kid Mrs. Park, leave him alone...I can't bear the sounds of torture..that also of a 6 year old boy?!!" Mrs. Kim exclaimed to their so called 'new neighbours'. They were horrible people, although they had one son, it seemed like they couldn't bear the sight of him. Tortured him, scolded him for the stupidest reasons and even beat the hell out of him. They didn't care about publicity. Husband and wife were always in a quarrel with each other , depending on their moods were a few days quiet in the neighborhood.

One such day came when Kim Yujin was locked up in her room, looked like she was grownded but just wanted to spend some privacy. She poked her head out of the window, resting her face on her thin pale hands. When people saw her face, they needn't to see the most beautiful girl as she was it herself. As she turned her face to the right she saw a similar figure. Unlike her thoughts it was of a little boy. Who was obviously the tortured son of their new neighbour auntie, mrs. Park.

~"Hello!"
-"hi there-" he replied sadly.
~"I'm Kim Yujin! What's your name?"
-"Me- I...I- I am Park Su Young"
~"Name is not so pretty, but I guess the face is"
-"I didn't get it..why do you guess..I am ugly in all ways" he turned his face down in shame or sadness.
~"Wow! The fact that I don't like pretty things wants my inner feelings to talk to you more" she leant her face closer so she could get a good image of the lonesome boy at the other balcony.
-"Wait you're pretty yourself, how come you not like pretty stuff. I thought girls loved shiny and beautiful stuff."
~"Well you'd expect that from us but, it's different for me. I don't see the world as other girls do."
-"Anyway want to be friends?"
~"Sure!"

Their conversation didn't last long tho, it was sweet but Suyoung had to wipe that smile off his face before he went to see his mother who'd been calling him. Yujin was pleased that she could make a new friend, and that also without realising her mother's smiling face eavesdropping their conversation outside the room.

Following Day-

Yujin was ready to hop on into her car when she saw her neighbour auntie hurrying with her new friend to the other side of the road. He was going to school. Though the thought that Suyoung could be in their school, by seeing the uniform made Yujin smile.

"Honey hop in, we're gonna be late"

After 15 minutes or so, they reached school where Yujins mom kissed her goodbye and went off with her car. The only thought in Yujins mind was 'Suyoung'. As she entered the halls of the primary school, she looked around for Suyoung.

-"Hey! Yujin eonni, I've heard a good looking 6 year old boy joined our class! He's so handsome." Yujins best friend Hana exclaimed. Yujin without hesitation rushed to her classroom, leaving young Hana with confusion.

"SUYOUNG!!" Yujin rushed in and gave him a hug although they were not very close. Suyoung pretended not to be shy and tried to hide his smile. But Yujin couldn't figure that out. "Thank god you're in my class! ALL MY FRIENDS, THIS IS PARK SUYOUNG, COME AND MAKE FRIENDS WITH HIM!" this short announcement made everyone friendly with Suyoung except some mean girls who were jealous of Yujins beauty.

"So..are you going to sit with me?" Suyoung smiled.

-"of course that's not a question!" Yujin grabbed a chair and made herself comfortable with Suyoung. And in a few days they became so good friends that they were difficult to be seperated of. Their friendship did last long happily for years until when both of them were 12 years old, Suyoungs dad decided to move to Seoul.

Monday, 2019

"Eomma!! Why is Suyoung leaving??" asked Yujins beautiful grief , tear stained face with so many questions to her mother. But all she could do was confront her and take her to the public garden to say goodbye to Suyoung.

Suyoung was now taller than Yujin, his hair grew and his handsome face was attractive. They both pulled into a hug. Yujins body was hid behind his taller body and her tears left a stain in his clothes. Suyoungs mother's face grew angry as she saw this act and called out her son "Honey! We're going to be late!". Yujin kissed Suyoung on the face before he left for the car. And slowly as Suyoungs father drove off, the car disappeared.

All these days went in quite grave for Yujin, but slowly as she grew older she forgot about the matter and made lots of friends. But to her grief she also, again had to leave her friends as her family planned to move to Seoul to stay with Yujins grandma and grandpa who were ill.

Yujin felt wherever she made friends, one day there would come a problem to stop the friendship. Although she had completely forgotten about Suyoung, she couldn't leave her best friend Hana in the past, so decided to call her whenever she wanted. Maybe one day Hana would come to meet her in Seoul. But her hopes were useless to her, that's what she thought anyways.

But little did she know, these changes in her life were for a good sign of her future. Who knows ? This sudden move may be life-changing for her...
