Here, Jennette was treated like a princess, but neglected and not loved by her 'father' Emperor Claude De Alger Obelia. But her 'sister' Athanasia De Alger Obelia was given all the love, attention and affection of their father, Claude.
As Athy sat down, she saw Jeannette awkwardly standing still. She liked the view as this was the same to her experience, back in her past life, Jeanette and Claude happily had a peaceful conversation while her just standing up and watching them and she was treated like a ghost. However, she will not let Jeanette experience the exact same just because she wants more drama. Rather than just that boring experience.
"Huh? Jennette why won't you sit down? oh? there are no more seats left,,, uhm, dad could we please get a spare chair of Jennette to sit on?" Athy asked.
"... if that's what you want." Claude spoke.
Athy asked one of the knights to get another chair for Jennette.
"thank you, your Highness..."
Jennette POV:
oh... then again I was wrong. The seats and tables were prepared only for sister and father... maybe it was just a mistake? maybe they didn't know I was coming as well? huh...

The 3 were eating together, but Jennette, even though she had a seat, she felt so awkward since Claude and Athy seemed so close Jennette felt our of the field. She felt like she shouldn't be there... Yet even tho, she still had her hopes up that that day was the day Claude was going to accept her as his daughter and as an Obelian Princess.

"Thank you so much papa, for preparing my most favored meals, desserts and pastries!" Athy exclaimed 'happily'
"I'm glad you enjoyed them. Now, Felix, bring all them in."
Ah. He must be talking about the gifts.
Felix and other such servants and knights brought in the presents.
"All these are your presents, Athanasia. Once again, happy birthday my daughter." Claude spoke in his normal tone nor did he have a smile, but just one look into his eyes you could already see his happiness, his heart smiling in joy.
"Oh my!! Thank you so much papa!!!!!!!"
Athy ran towards Claude and hugged him with a kiss on the cheek.
