The pain of the Nomu

Aizawa had told 1A to stand back and run to safety but of course they weren't gonna listen. A person? Thing? Black energy stood en front of them as students tried to land hits on them and noticed that the hits just didn't affect, with Steven gone to help protect Aizawa the Students where down by one person who's quirk they haven't seen because he had joined earlier than most the students and haven't seen him do anything involving his quirk but glow pink when distressed.
Someone landed a hit on him and the entity teleported all of them but Steven who still was helping Aizawa with the many villains who where attacking him without anyone to help them because 13 was dead... and Steven blamed himself for not being quicker, not being stronger, not being less scared of losing control and transforming into a monster again. What would happen if he does?
That question ran in Stevens mind every second still being pink but not getting taller and buffer like a quartz.

A Quartz like Jasper.

Steven shook those thoughts away from him as best as he could but he could still remember the first time he saw Jasper look afraid. Afraid from him.
He was running away from the energy wave he had caused by mere yelling "AIZAWA DUCK" he yelled and Aizawa did as told with Steven sending a shied over his head and hitting a villain who was about to attack him and making his shield disappearing as soon as it hit the villain to avoid hitting Aizawa with the shield if it bounces and he just shot him a look that was hard to read but he interpreted it as if it was a thanks so they continued fighting with Aizawa sending villains in all directions with his scarf and Steven trying to minimize damage to the villains mostly bubbled them after hitting them with his shield because fighting plus remembering Jasper where not very good together so he didn't want to get too... 'exited' with a fight.

But some villain appeared out confronting Aizawa face to face which in Stevens opinion was not the smartest option but it was all depending on his quirk
but I Steven was a little busy fighting the villains that were close trying to intervene like a weird alien thing with claws that looked nothing like a corrupted gem which was a little.. unsettling before the villain caught aizawas elbow and started Crumbling it?!
'Oh no no no no no' was everything Steven could think of as he bubbled two villains together to save energy 'No,No,no' he was done with some extra  villains all being bubbled and floating in the top of the dome with Aizawa fighting another villian even with his crumbling elbow before Steven saw something "AIZAWA BEHIND YOU!" He yelled
And Aizawa turned around with Steven bolting towards him before getting a huge headache, one of the worst ones he had it felt as if his head was splitting apart so he fell on his knees grabbing his head with the nomu on top of Aizawa squishing his arm with his hand but stopping with his hits "NOMU ATTACK!" The villian said but Steven could actually hear him, hear what he needed to say "Help,Pain,Kill,Help,Pain,Kill, Kill,Help"
Steven had shocked eyes with tears looking at the Nomu listening before standing and calmly walking towards him but in the inside he was freaking out yelling the nomu "Don't worry I'm here I can help you, don't kill, I can help, Stand up" the nomu did as told standing away from the men on the floor with Steven giving a look to the villian who was shocked and still as Steven gave Aizawa a kiss helping with the pain and almost completely healing him because he had only gotten a small and fast kiss before being bubbled away from the battle and being thrown away towards Deku who was in a river.
Steven walked towards the Nomu and spoke as softly as he could "I know your in pain but I can help you, you don't have to attack, I promise you'll be safe, please kneel down" The Nomu did as told and the villian started yelling different orders that where completely ignored by both Steven and the Nomu.
Steven started petting him between his eyes which was about the only spot he could touch in his face that was not his brain and he really didn't wanted to touch it "It's fine I'm here" the Nomu stood still completely getting down "ARGHHH ATTACK DIDNT YOU HEAR ME!" The villian started yelling
But it seem like he gave up "Pain, Help,You,Help"
A portal appeared behind the villian and got in it 'That's it the villain escaped, and I couldn't do anything' with Steven still petting the beast in so much pain that it kind of reminded him of the cluster "You used to be a human didn't you"
Steven let some of his tears get to him which helped the pain but did not return him to his human state that's how broken he was "Help,Pain, Better,Thank, Pain,Better,Human,Was,No,More," this proved how powerful his tears where but not enough to return him which made Steven really sad "I AM HERE"
He heard 'Who's that guy?' Steven had seen him before and a lot of people praised him but he didn't understand why "Hmm?" He said looking at Steven, a crying teenager with his hands on the now tamed  Nomu who was on the ground and he seem shocked
"HOW" he said and Steven shrugged still comfortably petting the Nomu who seem to like it
Making little sounds "Can I keep it?" Steven said trying to snap the golden haired guy from his confuse look "NO" he said with a light smile "Aw geez" Steven put his non busy hand in his neck
"WHERE ARE THE STUDENTS?" He yelled-talked once more

"Deku and Aiza- OMG AIZAWA!" Steven panicked remembering how injured he was and that he left it in a bubble so he took his hand off the Nomu and followed Steven to where he bolted off which was the river where deku and Aizawa was suppose to be at "DEKU!" Said Steven looking at a shocked green haired boy who had his eyes on the Nomu behind him "H-How did you" steven did a 'I don't know' mumble shrugging and then paying attention to the mostly healed men in the bubble who was also staring at him and the Nomu who nudged Steven talking once more "Pain, Back,Help"
Steven licked his hand and put it a little below his eyes with the disgust of everyone it started to glow and the Nomu seem pleased by laying on his stomach as Steven popped the bubble Aizawa was in

"I think it's because of my empathic abilities, y' know being pacifist?" There was a little sarcasm in his voice "how are you communicating with it, he's never said a word?" Asked Deku and Steven thought for a second "With my mind? He said that he used to be a human and that he is in so much pain every second that's why I'm petting him, comfort?" The Nomu made eye contact with all might "Kill, simbol of peace, KILL ALL MIGHT!?" He stood up and Deku got in a defensive position like all might "Um no you don't have to kill him, your safe now, your with me" Steven comforted once more and the Nomu layer down in agreement and Steven turned to a very tired Aizawa "Can I keep it!?" Said Steven as He smiled brightly and everyone groaned "NO" said Aizawa "oh man" said Steven back sadly.

Yeah I know that Nomus mind is broken but I mean Steven was able to communicate to a freaking ball of shattered aliens sticked together than I think he can talk to Nomu)
