The day was October 24 and in a town called Skokie, located in the area of Chicago, a city in a midwestern state called Illinois (A/N: Like in my stories, the studio which is usually in Pittsburgh or LA, i put the studios in different cities), there was a building on the Northeast corner of Dempster Street and Ewing Avenue called the Abby Lee Dance Company, a dance studio that had entrance/exits on Dempster and Ewing and pulling into the parking lot was a black Ford E150 van and getting out of the van was a young man around 20 with brown eyes and jet black long hair named Franklin Ziegler, who was a dancer for the studio when he was younger. He had won many competitions as a dancer and was the top dancer and never lost at Nationals, but he has lost a few competitions then and there.
The Studio had a front desk, which had walls that were painted red with a fountain across from the desk and it also had a computer and calendar and on the left, there was a hallway that led to the bathrooms and the door that was on the end was Abby's office and in it was a sofa, desk, computer and four chairs. The door next to the front desk led into a foyer which had a vending machine, a staircase that led to an observation room and three doors, the left door led into Studio B, one of the three studio rooms, the door next to the staircase led into the Dancer's Den, which was where dancers hang out in between classes and rehearsals and the door on the right led into Studio A, the biggest studio room of the Abby Lee Dance Company and it had three doors like the foyer that led into Studio A, Studio B and Studio C, which is the third studio room. Studio A had a mirror with gold brick wall and it had the ALDC logo on there, Studio B had a mirror, silks and a mirror with a silver brick wall with the word "ALDC" in graffiti style and Studio C, which had a red wall and white brick wall with the ALDC logo in red on it and the observation deck had red benches and it gave views of the studio rooms. Franklin walked to the door, opened it and entered the studio and sitting at the front desk was a heavyset woman around 45 with brown hair and green eyes named Abby Lee Miller, who is a dance teacher that owns the studio and she was also Franklin's dance teacher when he was little. Abby and Franklin had a bond from the very start and Franklin saw her as a secondary mother figure.
"Hello, Abby." Franklin greeted his old dance teacher.
"Hello, Frank." Abby stated as she gave him a hug. "How's it going?"
"It's going good, just can't wait to begin the season today."
"Don't blame you."
"Tomorrow, there'll be an audition for a new member of the team."
"Correct, the winning dancer will replace Vivi-Anne as she and her mother Cathy Nesbitt-Stein left last season." Abby said, referring about Cathy, who is a dance teacher that owns a dance studio in Canton, Ohio called the Candy Apples Dance Center and has a daughter named Vivi-Anne who danced at the studio for a few months. Cathy, however, didn't like how Abby ran the show, so they left after the competition in Chicago and wasn't seen until the competition in Los Angeles where she brought Vivi and two other dancers to compete against them.
Footsteps were heard and coming from the Foyer was a with brown hair named Gianna Martello, who is the assistant choreographer of the Abby Lee Dance Company, she once danced for the studio when she was younger and since she was 16, she had been helping Abby with choreography. In addition, she is Franklin's girlfriend since August as they were duet partners.
"Hey, Frank." Gianna greeted her boyfriend and kissed him.
"Hey, Gia." Franklin responded.
"Your mom and sisters are in the Dancer's Den. They arrived a few minutes before you did."
"Thanks for the heads up."
Two girls, one with ash blonde hair and aqua eyes around 9 named Maddie and the other with ash blonde hair with brown eyes around 7 named Mackenzie and they dance for the studio like their brother did and with them was a woman around 43 with ash blonde hair and brown eyes named Melissa Ziegler, who is the mother of Franklin, Maddie and Mackenzie and in there with them was a girl around 10 with brown eyes and brown hair named Nia Frazier, who is also a dancer for the studio.
