You Can't Hurt Me. Not Anymore.

I looked up to you.

I trusted you.

I defended you.

I was nothing but good to you.

You broke my trust.

You lied to me.

That was on your terms.

I'm taking everything back.

This time it'll be on my terms.

You can't hurt me anymore.

"You hurt me. You lied to my face and I never thought you could do that to me, but I was wrong. I looked up to you, because that's what we are supposed to do. But clearly I was wrong about you and have been wrong about you for years now. Hopefully you'll learn someday."

Also this isn't about my boyfriend. Just so you all don't get confused. I love you all. This year has been a struggle for me, but things are finally looking up for me and I'm letting go of the past finally. Writing for me has helped. Writing is everything to me. It'd helps me let go of the pain and express it.
