Recess.

The bell rang again. Why or how did time fly so fast? It felt like it has just been a few minutes when class had started. Did I even complete my notes? I looked down at my notebook.

Scribbles. Doodles. Nothing.

I did not take any notes from my previous class. Oh fuck, what is with today? I look around. I didn't even write anything! Not a single word. I can't even make out whatever I wrote- in fact, I didn't write anything. I look next to me. Aren't I a lucky girl today?

"Uhm, Sugawara?" I called, tapping his shoulder twice as he turned his focus that had averted from his book.

"Yes, Y/L/N? Do you need anything?"
"Can I borrow your notes? I didn't write anything," I let out a nervous chuckle. He spared a glance at my notebook and held back a laugh. Goodbye, this is embarrassing. Why didn't I just close that darned notebook before I even turned to him?

"For sure. You need to erase those beautiful sketches you made though," he teased with a grin and handed me his notes. Embarrassing. I just want to go home at this point. There is too much that happened today.

"Yeah thanks," I uttered and took the notes he gave. I want to disappear so bad at this point.

SCHOOL IS BORING. It's usually fun but today was an exception. Should I stop by the convenience store today? No, probably not. I don't want to be met by those workers or worse... Y/N herself! I don't know, I'm just embarrassed by what happened the previous day. 

I should have had a better approach. Obviously, I didn't plan it but still-

"Oikawa!" Iwaizumi called out, "you've been staring at the 'horizon' for too long, what's up?" he asked, leaning against the balcony.

"Oh, it's nothing." a nervous chuckle escaped my lips as I rubbed the back of my head. He shouldn't know, he doesn't have to know.

Iwaizumi examined my face as if my eyes was placed at where my mouth is  supposed to be. He looked suspicious.

"It's not nothing. What's up?" he asked, though his face remained monotone. He doesn't have to know.

"I swear, it's nothing!" I raised my hands up, backing up.

'Actually yesterday I tried to make a move-'

"Stop acting like I'm stupid. Something's bothering you." Iwaizumi insisted.

'-to a girl I barely knew-'

"It's nothing-"

He doesn't have to know.

"Tell me."

He shouldn't know.

 "Iwaizumi," a girl's voice rang, oddly, to me, it sounded familiar, but where have I seen it?

We looked at the girl who interrupted (also saved me from explaining), short black hair...

That girl from yesterday! The one that caught me "waiting" for Y/L/N!

Oh no, nevermind, I'm in more trouble.

Her face screamed recognition, I recognize you! I hope she wouldn't say. She doesn't have to say anything, God please make her shut her mouth from saying anything about yesterday, anything at all so I wouldn't have to explain to Iwaizumi Hajime that I stalked a girl yesterday-

"You," she pointed at me, me! "I recognize you, you're the guy from yesterday." she said it. She said it everyone, she said it. It's my cue to jump from the balcony.

"Ah- I think you've mistaken me for someone else," I rubbed the back of my head, sweat trickling down my forehead. This is really not the timing-

"I thought it wasn't your shift yesterday, Hana?" Iwaizumi questioned, so he knew her? Let's not be dramatic about this and see where this escalates...

Hana. That friend of Y/L/N.

Thankfully, Hana decided to stay silent about it as she looked away. Iwaizumi, wasn't being pushy about her explaining her shift either, oddly, but it was better that way.

I took my chance to run as they talked.
