~I'm trying to make this a slow burn, but it's hard when just want them to confess.

So that's how it went, the two ghouls spending more and more time together.

Almost every weekend Lagoona could be seen spending the night at Clawdeens, where they'd go out for breakfast the next day.

Or when the two would be chilling by the pool, enjoying the water and watching Lagoona do her laps.

While Torelei seemed to be tagging onto Deuce and Cleo, like what is with that?

Their friends have tried asking about it, but Cleo just said that she's an annoying attention seeker, which sure, makes sense but it's still a little weird.

As Lagoona and Clawdeen are walking past the lockers in the hallway, they catch sight of Cleo stuffing a very familiar looking stuffed cat in her locker.

"Isn't that Toraleis?" Clawdeen asks. "Oh well technically yes. We won it at a fair together once. Combining our tickets together," she explains.

The two nod and keep on walking, having a weird feeling that there's something going on with their friends.

Luckily school had now finished, which means the two were once again walking over to Clawdeens.

They ignored what's going on between Cleo and Torelei, instead picking up some dinner on the way for the two of them, mainly so Clawdeen doesn't have to share her dinner with any of her siblings.

It was easier than she thought, trying to sneak food through the house, since Clawdeens siblings are out at their own friends' houses.

They changed into pyjamas, put on a movie and watched it in peace, enjoying their time together, eating their takeout.

-Okay, if I'm being real honest here, I didn't come up with a solid plot for this book other than a slow burn friends to lovers between Lagoona and Clawdeen, just know I am trying here, and trying to get everything together.
