JorEl had just arrived back from monitoring the core degeneration caused by overactive cellular activity activated by stress, he immediately found Lara in labour but he was still preoccupied with his findings, " perhaps the stress is caused by stripping the core kryptonite."

"I am in labour, Jor- El and you are telling me now?" " Sorry Lara I shouldn't be telling you this, I should be telling the council." " The baby is coming Jor-E-l!"

Jor-El says, "Push!" And with one last push out appears baby Kal –El, he is beautiful.

"Lara, now I must go to see the Kryptonian council, and Lara, have our medical droid do an assessment and bathe Kal El."

Jor El arrived at the Council and was led into the council chamber by the Council secretary. Jor El addressed the Council.

"You all know why we are here, I'm talking about the krypton core."

Rozan stood up and said, "As head of the Kryptonian council I speak for all of the Kryptonian citizens, you told us about this problem 10 years ago and what can you say to us that is going to change our minds about this? What is this notion of yours that our planet is dying?"

While Jor El was talking to the Council, General Zod was plotting a coup at army headquarters with two of his closest allies, Non and Ursa, urging them to help overthrow the old government and operate a better government that's not so weak and stupid. General Zod said there would be a new government and a new Krypton, but not on this planet because if his best friend Jor El was right about the planet Krypton dying, then they would need to work together and form a new civilisation on a new planet with a new leader. General Zod said, "I will be your new leader and you two will be understudies."

While General Zod was explaining his plan, Jor El was explaining to the Kryptonian council why the planet Krypton was dying and stating that because the core was made up of a crystal-like substance which is radioactive the crystal, called Kryptonite, has harvested this from the core to power machinery and homes over many millennia, this has made the core unstable.

"Kryptonite is the lifeblood of the core and the planet is coming to its end of its life because we have overused the core's energy. Now, I have all my evidence on this projection that the planet is dying, here is a graph of how far the temperature of the core has risen in the last 10 years, you can see where the graph starts from 10 years ago.

" From the when I did the first test you can see how far the core temperature has risen, until now. The final test shows a marked deterioration of the core, for the end is nigh."

Just after Jor El had said what he had to say there was a tremor, it was big, walls were cracking outside the window of the council chamber. Council members looked out the window and saw lava erupting from cracks opening in the ground and from the horizon. They stared in silence. As suddenly as it started it stopped.

Rozan spoke, "Jor El this still doesn't prove your predictions, this event is not out of character to Krypton, earth tremors are a natural occurring event, although that tremor was bigger than usual, I am going to dismiss your predictions Jor El, but I cannot until the rest of the council votes. Wait here, Jor El, while we go into the deliberation chambers to vote." The council members then moved into the deliberation chamber.

Rozan and Try-Us both spoke, " As we are the head of the Council we will start proceedings with Jor El, brother Zor El and father in law Sul Val.

"How do vote, for or against Zor El?"

"I vote for, how do you vote Sul Van?"

"I vote against."

And so this continued, until Rozan declared, "Now all the rest of the eight council members have voted against, but not you Zor El, this does not matter Zor El, now we will go and let Jor El know the verdict."
