"Leo!"
Leo heard Raph yelling his name. This was pretty common. He walked out of his room and into the kitchen, where all three of his brothers were.
"What's up?" Leo asked his brothers. "What do you mean "what's up?" You were acting like a complete fool on today's mission!" Raph yelled at him. "What do you mean? I did great! We all got out fine anyway, so what's the big deal?" Leo asked. "Are you SERIOUS?!" Raph yelled at Leo, getting angrier. Mikey grabbed his shoulder, trying to calm him down. Raph took a deep breath.
"You kept goofing off, being impulsive with jumping into action, and making jokes and acting like our life's are a big joke to you!" Raph exclaimed. "Excuse me?! Are you saying I don't care about you guys?" Leo exclaimed. "Well, maybe you don't! Why are you even on this team if you don't care if we get hurt?!" Donnie exclaimed. He then suddenly put his hands over his mouth, realizing what he had just said. "Leo..." Mikey tried to talk to Leo, but Leo interrupted.
"No." Is all he said. He sighed, and then walked back to his room.
He always knew his brothers didn't want him on the team. But, now that Donnie confirmed it, it hurt even more. Leo could still hear some voices from the kitchen.
"Is that all he had to say? "No."? He heard Donnie's voice say. "What you said was kind of mean, Donnie." He heard Mikey's voice say. "Yea, we'll maybe it's what he needs to get in shape!" He heard Raph's voice exclaim.
What did they know? Leo knew he could act however he wanted, and if they didn't want him on the team, then they'll just have to see how it is without him at all!
