One day, I've met a a girl at a coffee shop. She was very beautiful and simple. She was wearing a simple dress and a red ribbon around her neck.
We dated for a few months and then we became a couple. After a year we got married. But I was always wondering why was she always wearing that red ribbon around her neck. Each time I'll ask her sometimes she'll change the subject—if not, she won't answer. When I asked her about after the wedding, she said...
"I'll tell you at the right time" After that I never asked her again. I Just waited and waited every day of my life hoping that when I wake up she'll tell me...why? Curiosity got the best of me and thus, she's my wife
When we got older she got sick and it got worse. The doctors had examined her repeatedly but they still don't know what kind of sickness does she have. after being confined for a few weeks she decided to go home and just rest there. At first I hesitated because I don't want to lose her—but I agreed if that will make her happy.
When we got home I laid her down on the bed for her to rest. I was surprised with what she said.
"you can take the ribbon of now"
And so I did...but I wish I didn't. Her head fell off. I took a deep breathe in and let out a shakily breathe, tears ran down freely from my eyes. With that I found the answer for my question that had bothered me for decades.
