Today is the day I say bye to all my problems and forget about all of them- in the after life
Oh I haven't quit work yet. Oh well they'll just have to fire a corpse
I looked off the ledge of the roof, overseeing the dim lights given off from the street lights. It was 4 am, perfect time to die
Slowly, I inhaled and exhaled in and out, in and out. Phew, ok now I'm ready-
creak
Pretty sure that's the door that leads to the roof. I turned around, pretty startled by the sudden noise
A petite person came in, but I couldn't see their face since it was dark out
"Oh hi" They said, I couldn't help but think it was rather sweet, their voice I meant
"Hello" I responded, common courtesy
"What are you doing?" They said, walking closer, the moon light hutting their face
They were definitely pretty I have to admit, I could mistake them as a woman. But as the voice implies, it was definitely male. Still pretty though
"Trying to kill myself" oh shoot was that too straight forward? Now I'll end up sounding like some emo teenager
"What a coincidence me too. Care if I join?"
"The pleasure is mine"
He waltzed right next to me, only a few inches away
"So when are you jumping?" He questioned. It sounded weird that this anglic voice was asking when I was going to kill myself
"I guess now"
"Let's do it together"
"Sure. Want me to count?"
"That would be good"
"3, 2-"
"Wait I forgot something"
I turned my head towards him, staring into his glistening eyes that were staring back at me
"I'm afraid of heights"
Oh.
