Werewolf Girl (Wolf AU - 2022)

Background: Haz and Lou adpoted a daughter (Zari) when she was 8 in 2013 but she unfortunately got kidnapped at the age of 10 in 2015 and haven't been seen since. She had some weird gene in her DNA but they didn't think much of it at the time. It was now May of 2022.

Harry and Louis was walking down a path in the forest that they knew well, holding hands and saying sweet things to each other. They've been on this path before with no trouble but today.. was different. Something zoomed through the bushes, catching their attention.

Haz: "Did you hear that?" He whispers to Lou, his grip on Lou's hand tightening a bit.

Lou: "Yeah.. what was that?" He knew Harry's grip tightened so he gently gave Harry's hand a reassuring squeeze.

Just then, an adult wolf comes out, scaring them. It was growling viciously at the two as the wolf slowly walked closer to them. After a second or two, a girl, maybe 15 or 16 years old, comes out. She had wolf ears and a tail, similar to what the wolf has. She was a werewolf. People think the human/werewolf mix like Zari is a myth.

Zari: "Shadow? what is it, boy?" She asks the wolf, sounding a little shy as she looks at Harry and Louis.

She stared at them in confusion. Harry and Louis didn't recognize her at first since it's been 7 years. She speaks up shyly.

Zari: "Who.. are you guys?.."

Lou: He took note of now shy she is. "Don't worry, love. We won't hurt you. I'm Louis and this is my husband, Harry. What's your name?"

She couldn't help but recognize those names but she didn't wanna jump to conclusions.

Zari: "I'm.. Zariah.."

Harry's eyes widen and he looks at Lou as he looks back, they look back at Zari. "There's no way." They thought.

Haz: "Zari?.. Is it really you?.." He asks, tears of hope filling his eyes.

She instantly started tearing up. She remembered Harry always calling her that before she was taken. She runs to them as they opened their arms for a hug and she nearly tackles them in the hug, breaking down crying. Harry and Louis hugged her tightly as they both were crying as well.

Haz: "We didn't think we'd see you again.. you've grown so much in the past 7 years.."

Zari: "Y-You guys n-never forgot about m-me?.." She squeaks out from crying.

Lou: "We never did, love.. you're our daughter.."

Zari cries more at the thought. She thought they forgot about her but they never did. They never would and they never could. Shadow slowly walks over and nudges his head onto their legs. He was friendly when he knows someone or something isn't a threat. Zari perks her head down at him and she smiles softly as she strokes his head. She slowly calms down

Lou: "Shadow is a brave name for a wolf." He smiles softly at Zari.

Zari: "Mhm.. its just me and him out here.. I recently left a wolf pack and he stuck with me.."

Haz: "Oh darling.. we missed you so much.."

She tries to wipe her tears away off her face but the tears just kept falling.

Zari: "I missed you guys so much too.. I couldn't stop thinking about you guys.." She almost starts crying again, also almost having a panic attack.

Lou: "Hey hey.. don't cry, love.. it's ok.. you're ok.." He hugged her tightly again, gently stroking her hair to calm her down.

Zari: She calms down quite quickly. "Can I go home with you guys?.. and can Shadow come along?.."

Lou: "Yeah of course.." He picks her up.

She wraps her arms and legs around him as she was picked up, resting her head on his shoulder. Shadow follows them. Zari was basically his leader and he was her guardian. He followed her everywhere she went to protect her from rival packs that's after her. Zari eventually fell asleep in Lou's arms as he stroked her hair. They get to their car and Louis sat in the passenger seat while Harry gets into the driver's seat, starting the car. They drive home and takes Zari inside. They've moved homes twice in the 7 year time span because of paparazzi finding them. Yes, they are still with the other boys. Niall, Liam, and Zayn have been helping them look for Zari. Niall was sitting on the couch, cuddling with Liam in a brotherly way.

Niall: He perks his head up as they walked in, carrying Zari. "Oh my god.. is that.. Zariah?.."

Liam also perks his head up at them and his eyes widen. Zayn walks in and sees her, his eyes also widening. They were shocked and relieved.

Liam: "Oh my god, that is!.. She's grown so much in just 7 years.."

Harry nods as Zayn tears up. Besides Harry and Louis, Zayn protected Zari alot like a big brother. She loved Zayn with her whole heart but now him, along with Niall and Liam, were worried she won't recognize them for how much they've changed, kinda. Louis gently lays Zari on the couch near where Niall is sitting. She slowly wakes up after a few minutes and slowly sits up. Her gaze stops on Niall and Liam and she instantly tears up.

Zari: "Niall! Liam!" She immediately crawls towards them.

Niall: "Hey my little princess!" He smiles as he picked her up and put her in between him and Liam.

Liam: "Heyy dove.. we missed you so much.." He spoke softly as he wrapped an arm around her, kissing the top of her head.

She smiles softly, snuggling in between them, curling up a little.

Niall: He was poking her wolf ears. "Fluffy ears- I guess this is the weird gene or whatever that was in your DNA?-"

Zari: She giggles softly. "Yeahh. I was kidnapped because apparently I have something that most, if not all, wants desperately."

Liam: "Were you told what it was?"

She shakes her head no. She didn't wanna make things emotional again and she just wanted cuddles since she hasn't had cuddles in 7 years. She felt safe again.

Zayn: He walks over to her. "Hey, angel.. glad your back home with us.."

She smiles at him. Her smile never changed in the boys' eyes. She may have a wolf tail and ears now but they didn't mind it, she's still the cuddly and adorable Zari they know and love.
