"Wake up, Y/N! We need to go get you your supplies." Y/N's mother opened the curtains to her bedroom, which caused Y/N to whine and roll over to face the wall.

"Why can't we do that...later?" Y/N breathed out and pulled her covers over her head.

"There is no later, now get up!" Y/N's mother crossed her arms and Y/N sighed. Y/N sat up and poked her head from her blanket.

"If I go out, we get to go to the bookstore." Y/N furrowed her eyes and her mother sighed.

"Fine." Y/N's face lit up and she jumped out of bed.

Y/N's excitement grew as she sat in the front seat and glared out the window. Inazuma was truly beautiful...Y/N's eyes widened as her mother drove off into the exit. The same highway she and Itto got pulled over in. Y/N smiled to herself and turned her head. Her brother's iPad blared some silly youtube video and he was eating it up like a last meal.

"So, how was the party last night?" Y/N's mother kept one of her hands on the starting wheel as the other one went through her purse. Y/N grabbed the purse and went through it for her. Y/N pulled out her mother's work phone.

"It was fun, I met a few new people." Y/N checked her mother's emails to make sure she could stay out longer and not leave early for a work call.

"I met a guy named Thoma, he works under Kamisato Clan." Y/N's mother gasped.

"So he must be like best friends with the Kamisato Siblings?" Y/N put her mother's phone down and shrugged slightly.

"He didn't say." Her brother looked up and looked angry.

"Y/N went to a party and didn't bring me!? That's not fair, Mama!" Her brother squealed and Y/N rolled her eyes. She turned her head to face him and scrunched up her nose.

"You're 5. You're not going to any party with me." Her brother screamed and started crying. Y/N's mother grumbled in annoyance and sighed.

"Look, honey! Is that what I think it is?" Her brother stopped crying and looked up from his iPad. Yae Publishing house was on the next exit and her brother stopped crying.

"I heard they sell toys there, not just books." Y/N turned to her mom and frowned.

"Why did we bring him?" She asked.

"Your father isn't home and I'd rather do anything than leave him at home alone." Y/N's mother crossed lanes and drove into downtown Inazuma City.

Y/N went on her phone and looked at herself in her camera. She thought of that Sara girl from the party and frowned. She didn't even know Y/N, why would she call her a whore? Y/N closed her phone and turned to look out the window. She felt so bad for Itto. He dated her and had to deal with her. Her brother screamed again and Y/N held herself back from hitting him.

Y/N walked into the Yae Publishing house. It was massive, the walls were covered in dark oak bookshelves, and there was a cafe in the corner and a giant window in the back. It showed off the beautiful Grand Narukami Shrine. Lines of bookshelves lined up perfectly in the store. There were books placed in order from largest to smallest, Fantasy to Romance, Science Fiction to Historic, Art to Comedy, Mystery to Fiction, and Nonfiction. There were so many and Y/N was in love. Soft jazz flowed from the speakers and Y/N walked around. She just hoped it would start raining, then she'd be in Celestia.

Y/N scanned the books, she wanted to find the adult section. Her mother walked around the store with her brother. Y/N found the adult section and her cheeks burned. She made sure no one was watching and quickly made her way to the section. There were so many, Y/N wanted them all. Y/N picked out the ones with the most innocent covers and moved on. She learned not to spend all her time there, I mean she was old enough that people couldn't tell her what she could or could not do but still.  Y/N moved on to the Historic Fiction section.

"Well if it isn't Ms. Fontaine." Y/N turned quickly and smiled. Thoma grinned, he was holding a stack of books himself.

"I had no idea you liked to read." Y/N nodded.

"Me neither." Thoma shrugged slightly.

"Once and a while, yes but these are for Master Ayato. He doesn't show his face often and these days he's very busy, so I'll be doing most of the shopping these days." Y/N nodded slightly.

"It must be stress from all the school activities or the new semester?" Y/N asked calmly, quickly hiding the Adult books under the Fiction books. Thoma nodded.

"He doesn't seem to mind though, I hope you're adjusting well." Y/N smiled. "Thank you."

Y/N's mother walked into them and her brother was holding some sort of Kitsune action figure. Y/N wasn't sure what it was.

"Oh uh, Thoma this is my mother and my brother," Y/N said cautiously. and Thoma just smiled. He turned to her mother and bowed waist down, making sure he didn't drop any of the books. He fixed his posture.

"Welcome to Inazuma, M'lady, I hope you enjoy it." Y/N's mother smiled and bowed waist down.

"Thank you, Thoma." She fixed her posture. Her brother ignored Thoma and kept checking out his new toy.

"I'd love to stay and chat, but Master Ayato is in a rush so I'll have to leave early. I do hope we can meet again." Thoma bowed again and left quietly.

"He's cute." Y/N snapped her head to her mother and her mother laughed.

"Mom!" Y/N groaned and hid behind her stack of books. Y/N paid for the books and her mother paid for the toy. They walked out of the bookstore and Y/N cautiously checked out the Adult books. She smiled to herself and her brother yelled again because it started to rain.

It was a long day of shopping. After Y/N got all her school supplies, her mother drove them to the store for some groceries. Tonight, the family was going to try a Sashimi Platter with Soba Noodles. Y/N didn't mind the food shopping, it gave her a sense of independence and pride. She would be doing this on her own soon. Y/N brought in the bags after a 10-minute argument with her brother. He was supposed to bring at least one bag in. He brought his toy in and ran upstairs to play, leaving Y/n and her mother to do all the work.

After unpacking, Y/N brought her bookbag and school supplies upstairs to her room. She placed the bags down on the bed and started placing her new books on her bookshelf. She was almost out of the bookshelf room. She then organized her school supplies and took a deep breath. It was a new school, so it must be a new Y/N. She smiled to herself and held her hands close to her chest. "Y/N honey! The food is ready! Go get your brother!" Y/N's mother exclaimed from downstairs and Y/N sighed. She went to get her brother and made her way to dinner.

It was almost 2 hours since dinner. Y/N laid her head on her pillow, earbuds on full blast, she stared at her ceiling. She frowned slightly. What were her friends doing? Her grandparents? Y/N wiped her eyes and looked at her phone. She was getting a call from Itto and her heart skipped.
