Levi...?

Levi didn't sleep well, he didn't know how the Hell he was gonna explain why he kissed Eren. To be honest, he didn't even know why. But it felt like it was what he had to do. "I kissed you because I felt like I had to! No that sounds dumb, idiot..." Levi muttered to himself, sitting at the edge of his bed. It was 4 a.m., he recently woke up. "I kissed you because the setting was right. No, that doesn't work either. Dammit, why is this so complicated. Just explain why I did it." Levi argued to himself. Eren fell asleep alright but was still completed confused. He wanted, no, needed answers on why Levi was acting so...strange... He was still acting like himself, but when he was around Eren. He felt different... He still had his glare but his attitude... Eren couldn't wrap his head around it, no matter how hard he wanted to. He couldn't understand.
As the hours ticked on, Levi tried to think of a proper explanation that they would believe and understand. Just saying, "because I wanted to." Wouldn't work, not this time at least. "Heichou...?" Petra knocked on Levi's door, holding a fresh cup of tea. It was now 7 a.m., Levi was half asleep on his desk. "Hm...? Who is it...?" He asked tiredly, "uh... It's Petra Ral, Sir!" She said, slowly opening the door. "Come in... Do you have something in your hands...?" He looked up at the ginger girl, his vision a little blurry from his drowsiness. "I have a cup of tea for you... I was thinking maybe you wanted one. But if you don't, I can drink it for myself..." Levi shook his head. "I'll have it, thank you for making it for me." He responded, slowly removing the cup from her hands and drinking it. "You are dismissed- uh, actually before you go. Can you go fetch Jaeger for me?" Petra was slightly confused but didn't question it. "Right away, Sir." She went off to his room. "Maybe it's just business, I shouldn't worry about it anyways... It's none of my business." She reassured herself before knocking on Eren's door. He awoke from his deep sleep. "Who is it...?" He asked, half awake. "Petra! Levi wants to speak with you..." She told him before heading back to her room. Maybe I will finally get an explanation. Eren thought before quickly getting dressed. "Finally... I'll tell Eren that the kiss was to... Establish dominance? Ugh, that's sounds dumber than your other idea." Levi was still arguing to himself, he wanted to be able to explain why he kissed Eren but he really didn't have a solid explanation. "Uh, Sir- I mean Levi, I forgot we were alone..." Eren stood at the entrance of Levi's office, a little awkwardly. "Sit down..." Levi responded with his usual monotone voice. But secretly he was panicking inside. "Levi... Can I ask you a question? About why you... Y'know, kissed me?" Levi slightly froze up. Now realizing he didn't think of a good enough reason on why he kissed him. "O-Of course Eren." Levi took a deep breath and said, "I kissed you because the feeling felt right and I felt like if I didn't kiss you then, I would've never had another chance to kiss you. I know that's not a good explanation but it's all I got..." Eren smiled but hid it. "It's an alright explanation, thank you for clearing this up." He said it so calming and relaxing that Levi stopped being so nervous. "Eren, if you don't mind. I want you to come to my office around ten o'clock, got that?" Eren nodded, now curious what Levi wanted with him later tonight. "I'll be there."

Eren walked near Levi's office, the time was 9:56 p.m. and he really didn't want to be late. When he reached Levi's office, he slowly opened the door and was very surprised, turned on, but surprised of what he saw. "Levi...?"
